Can't get any new sites to rank

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 06:08 PM PDT

I have 4 or 5 new domains ranging in age from 3 months to 2 weeks and I can't get any of them to rank. They're all indexed and I have built them and backlinked them like I have always done, but nothing new has been ranking in even the top 100!

Anyone have any ideas?

How likely is a deindex with niche adsense sites?

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 05:49 PM PDT

I keep hearing about people getting deindexed with niche sites and adsense. How likely is this? Lets say I have 3-4 300-400 quality original articles on my sites and some amazon affiliate stuff (I heard amazon stuff helps avoid being labeled an MFA site?). How many sites and how much per day can I safely earn? I really don't want to get deindexed. Is 13 sites earning 1-3 bucks per site per day too many? I use heatmap and I have less than the maximum allowable amount of ads.

Any personal experience is appreciated

Question about sandbox page discrimination

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 05:40 PM PDT

Hi guys, can you please tell me...
if a site is sandboxed does it mean that all pages penalized or only main domain's page.

I thought all above, but i see one site of mine has interesting behavior. Main page was on 1st page,, now i don't see it anywhere, but it shows as indexed. Yet traffic is coming from long tail keywords and other pages.

Is it sandboxing or dance? If dance how long does it last, in average?

Question to Article Marketing Robot gurus

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 05:02 PM PDT

Guys,
How many article submissions (i mean different articles or different author profile submissions) ARM can handle simultaneously if scheduled? Are you just doing one at a time or leveraging the soft to push more? How many in your case?

One more question.

With ARM, do you also get links from the author profile submissions or from only articles submission?
My author profile doesn't seem to post any URLs at all, even thou i did provide it.

Get Some Fuckhole Deleted On Youtube?

I will literally blow (well not really) anyone who can advise on this one.

How can I get an account on YT deleted? He's uploaded no videos. He just keeps commenting on my videos in a certain niche and I'm pretty sure it's because of this fuckhead that I've lost dozens of videos tonight.

Any ideas please guys?

How long have you been with Adsense?

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 04:44 PM PDT

First and foremost, I apologize if this is noobish question, but I see many successful people earning their living with Adsense, whether is flipping their website for big money or earn a daily of 500/day.

But my question is, how long have you been in Adsense? I mean big G should realize your making so much cash and ripping him off "Literally". Like making 500/day constantly or even just 200/day for 365 days is a lot for just maintaining the site with outsourcing service or seo service.

I would like to start my Adsense also, but it is still a whole new to me. This is why I'm asking this sort of question.

Bonus Question (optional): How many website would you suggest in an account? If big G ban you and you have 10 website, all 10 won't generate income right?

Kindly look forward to everyone's reply.

Thanks

Need advise on ad placement on my site

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 04:38 PM PDT

Please check out the ad placement on my site: http://washableplacemats.com/ and offers some tips.

Specially on the ad placement on the right side menu. In the middle of the two related ad boxes, there are links to related pages that look like google related ads. I am not sure if this would cause a problem with google.

For some pages there are no related pages on my site so it looks like this: http://www.washableplacemats.com/Ori...e-Runners.html is the "Related Posts" in the middle of the two ads ok?

The rectangle in the middle has 16 clicks (.29 CPC), related ads have 21 clicks (.07 CPC), and the sky scraper on the left has 8 click (.15 CPC).

Please share your thought on my website design. and how I can improve it.

What to do with old account

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 04:26 PM PDT

I just stumbled across an old account of mine which I used to upload my hip hop remixes to. The channel has 654,000 total upload views and some subscribers. The videos are still getting frequent views and the occasional comments.

Is there anything I can do with this account rather than letting it go to waste? A way of monetizing it? It's been inactive for three years.

Looking for a Good Movie

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 03:57 PM PDT

Yeah, I know it's kind of odd that I'm asking for a movie suggest on a money making forum, but some of the coolest people I've met online have come from this very site so I figured why not?

To the point, I am sort of a movie buff, and am looking for some good movies that the community would recommend. I'll watch anything, but horror movies, not a fan of the genre honestly. I'll watch any movie that's posted and give a legit small review about it.

Anyhow hope to see some good movies :)

Possible PayPal Killer

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 03:57 PM PDT

I came across an interesting article today.

http://abcnews.go.com/Business/wireStory?id=13150739

Could this be a PayPal killer?

I mean Visa is a 60bln dollar company with 3.6bln cash in the bank. So throwing 100M at this project would be absolutely nothing. I know the project is starting out as a system to pay back relatives, and such, but could it develop into a payment system much like PayPal? Without all the ridiculous fees, and nazi-like grip on YOUR money.

I dont know why many of you dont really talk about replica jerseys here

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 03:43 PM PDT

I mostly see threads about purses and rolex but nobody really mentions repica jerseys such as nfl and nba. I made 2 runs selling these and I got suspended each time but I raked in $6,000 my first run (3 months) and $5,000 my second run (1.5 months : mostly because of Michael Vick). Every jersey was dropshipped and they are extremely profitable until ebay finds out.

what are your thoughts on jerseys?

Cyberroot is a scammer

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 03:42 PM PDT

I paid this dude $160 for a month for a dedicated smtp server that supposedly could send 400k/daily and nothing ever went thru. He said he would setup and manage everything and did nothing but use me for experimenting. Everything he suggested was a wash. He bought extra ips after one of my domains was blacklisted and the ips were in the same ip range making them useless. He kept blaming me for using "bad" lists. When i checked the bounce logs more than 60% of the bounces were blocked by the receiving server...probably because the domains were blacklisted. Then about 15-20% were soft bounces and the rest were inactive addresses. When i asked for a refund he started the blame game all over and blocked access to the server with 5 days left in my billing month. This dude is a super scammer and i would definitely stay away with him. I'm not the complaining(write a bad review) kind of guy but this dude asked for it. I even told him i would have to resort to writing this if I didnt get at least a partial refund and he said he didnt care.

[share]Unlimited Bandwidth, Anonymous 'Net, and Extreme Internet Speed... No extra charge?

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 03:34 PM PDT

I thought I'd share this for people who may be having a rough time as I once was:

Did you know that you can get unlimited bandwidth to your house, surf the web and send data anonymously, and achieve amazing upload/download speeds at little to no extra cost to you? It's true--here's a related story detailing the issue: http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/200...rdware-hacker/

What I'm talking about are modified cable modems. The particular gentleman discussed in the above article got into trouble because he's selling these devices and the companies don't like that--but what I'm talking about today is what you, as the end-user, can accomplish with them.

Benefits include what I mentioned above:
  • Removal of any bandwidth limits which your ISP imposes
  • Essentially anonymous surfing and data transfer
  • Significantly increased transfer speeds
  • An essentially plug-and-play device which you can take anywhere with cable access

So is this illegal? That depends on if you own the service. If you use a modded cable modem to access the Internet at your house and you don't pay for that service, you're committing a crime. But if you do pay for service, the modified modem simply allows you the benefits outlined above. It can be extremely helpful for people just starting out with online business.

Of course, actually modifying a modem is somewhat difficult--but there's good news: You can purchase pre-modified devices from techies on eBay! Simply search for "Premod Modem" and you'll get a ton of hits. What you're looking for is a Motorola Surfboard modem with haxorware firmware--although any of the custom firmwares will work just fine.

These forums will provide you with everything you need to get started:
http://www.sbhacker.net/forum/

A modified cable modem can really help out in some cases. I'm not affiliated with anyone selling any of these "premod" devices, but I figured I'd give back to the forums a little bit. I know a lot of you are beginners who could really use a boost here and there. I definitely would've liked one!

Good luck everyone. :)

Need beta testers for new webmaster tool

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 03:16 PM PDT

I am here looking for a little help from the members of this forum.

basically I need Beta Testers!

In a nutshell my company is about 90% finished building a new software tool that we hope will save web professionals the world over from getting ripped of from bad clients ever again. (heres hoping..lol)

Out tool is called Site Bandit and we are hoping it will change how the web community deals with "problem" clients once and for all.

most web professionals eventually get a client that suddenly decided not to pay you? (Usually after you already did all the work on their website / project?) You know the sort of thing; they either ignore you completely or come out with some vague excuse why you shouldn't get paid. This is usually accompanied by them locking you out of your own work by changing all ftp / hosting passwords on their site. Or they pay you, you hand over the work and then the check bounces or they pull the old credit card dispute routine and get their money back anyway…all while keeping your work?

Sound familiar?

Here at IMC we certainly have had our share of issues with clients and decided to build a tool that would tip the balance BACK in our favor, even after a client changed all hosting, FTP passwords etc to lock us out.

That is why we created Site Bandit. Basically if your client locks you out of the site, disputes a credit card to get his money back or some other attempt to not pay for work you did, our Site bandit allows you to easily "undo" all the work you did, simple as that, no FTP or back end hosting access needed. It's all done via the front end.

You just install our tool at the beginning of all new projects and hope you don't need it. But if you do our tool lets you "undo" or "retrieve" all your work done within your chosen date range…yup, just tell the tool when you where working on the site / project, then select what you wish to remove (files, database, or both) and hit "undo" and that's it, anything you worked on is gone.

Now doing this will probably get your "clients attention and (big surprise) NOW he suddenly gets in touch asking why the site / project is all messed up and how does he get it all back?

Well here is the real beauty of our SITE BANDIT tool. Just before our tool "retrieves" the items you've selected, SITE BANDIT also backs all those items up, zips them and lets you download them for safekeeping. So just wait for the phone to ring with your elusive client suddenly very willing to pay you.

After your outstanding balance is paid simply access the SITE BANDIT tool again and use the "restore" feature which is basically a simple file upload that allows you to restore the back up zip file as if nothing had happened and viola your client is back up and running, and more importantly you have been paid and can move on.

So we are looking for beta testers from all parts of the web development spectrum to test our tool and tell us what you think, likes, dislikes, stuff we could add to improve it etc.

For your time and effort we will happily give you a full copy of Site Bandit and fingers crossed… you will never need it.

I don't want to disrespect the forum and posts URLS, So I guess PM me and I will put you down as a tester

How Much are you currently making on niche blogging per day?

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 02:53 PM PDT

Hello,
I'm new here but I've read quite a lot and I was wondering how much
you're currently making per day with just niche sites and blogging.
I need some inspiration since I'm stuck with my own blogging adventure.
I'm not asking for the niche (duh:P) but
Could you tell me:
- how much do you make per day?
- Adsense or CPA?
- how much are your invests?
- what tools are you using? not just for backlinks but also keyword research?
- How many sites do you have totally and are those paid domains or also bloggerblogs?

I'd really appreciate if someone is willing to answer (one or more of) these questions.
I think this would be a usefull thread for more beginning bloggers:D

Thanks!

Noob Question/ Advice Neeed For CPA Network Acceptance

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 02:49 PM PDT

Ok so I have taken one full year to just read up on SEO, marketing and blogs. Then I finally started a few blogs, Blog #1 is doing ok to 20-30 uv a day semi-autoblog been up since January 2011 focused on game tips and cheats and Blog #2 is two months old, all original content on current events.

But I am working on a better strategy for more consistent traffic. My question is do I literally have to have 500 uv per day to sign up to a CPA network? Like if I can manage 60uv or 100uv do you think networks like Peerfly, or ******* (because I here they are noob friendly) would let me in? I live in the USA if that helps. Please let me know your opinion. Thanks.

What's your opinion on Automate 6

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 02:42 PM PDT

I've had this for a while but never really messed with it until about a week ago. I'm curious what your thoughts are on this program.. if you prefer another automation/macro software or just what.

yesterday I combined an automate6 script with mIRC and easyfriends (myspace friend adder) to add friends on one account until it requested a capatcha (adds about 150 per account before capatcha is requested) .. then it logs out changes my ip (i'm on a dynamic dsl connection), runs ccleaner, switches to another myspace account and loads up 200 fresh ids and does the process all over again.

I had to use mIRC to do the account switching and loading fresh ids through .txt files because i'm more savvy with it. I know it's weird to use mIRC for that.. but whatever it works.

my main point for posting this is.. I'm considering downloading the trial for Automate 8 and testing it out and considering buying it if there's not another program that's better.

--------------------

Hi,

I work for More Digital; a UK based Digital Marketing Consultancy.

We represent clients interested in social media marketing on smaller sites with little or no existing advertising and we're currently looking for advertising partners.

We pay a fixed upfront annual fee which we will agree on with you. Once the ad is in place, payment is made within approximately 48 hours.

Would you be interested in placing a small text-based ad on **************.org?

Kind regards,
Elaine Washburn

Hi,

Give me some figures and i will get back to you.

thanks

---------------------------------

to which i got an email today....

---------------------------------

Hi ,

Thank you for getting back to me.

I am sending details on our advertising style, clients and the annual fee we pay our partner website. I hope that this is something we could work on.

Advertising Style:
The advert will be text, not a visual banner. It will appear only on a single page of your website. Most likely within the content of the webpage. But rest assure that our experienced content writers will make sure that the advert will be placed unobtrusively.

To give you an idea of what a text advert looks like, please view our example at the following link: http://www.discoverdisney.co.uk/family-diary where the anchor is 'Virgin Atlantic'.

Payment and Clients:

For the non – gaming clients such as: Fashion, Finance, Telecommunications, Tourism or Health: you would receive 100 USD for a 1 year placement
For the online Gaming clients (poker or bingo sites) you would receive 120 USD for a 1 year placement

We pay the full annual fee via secure payment partners Paypal or Moneybookers within 48 hours of the advert going live on your site. You may also read our terms and conditions at: www.moredigital.com/terms.pdf .

I'd be happy to provide you with an example of the advert for your website if you wish. Let me know if you would be interested, we'll then complete a quick assessment of your site and find a suitable advertiser for you

Lastly, if you have other websites that are open to text ads, feel free to send them over.

Thank you and looking forward to working with you!

Kind regards,
Elaine

Best poker affiliate?

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 02:08 PM PDT

Hello BHW,

I'm setting up a poker-related site and I'm searching for a good poker affiliate. I found Full Tilt. You get $75 for a sign-up. I was like  but ofcourse too good to be true... They had to pay a total of $25 of rakes, and assuming the rakes aren't higher than 5%, they need to play with a total of (25*20=)$500.

So do you guys know a good poker affiliate? Perhaps someone has experience with a poker affiliate?

Thnx

Searching for a Fiverr gig

Posted: 16 Mar 2011 01:57 PM PDT

Hello,

I once saw a featured gig on fiver that I'd like to use now but can't find a reference to it.

It's a cute girl from Argentina (I think) and in the demo video she sings What a wonderful world (or Halellujah, can't remember) along with Feliz Compleanos Fiver user.

I don't know if she's still on Fiverr but if anyone happens to see what I'm talking about and can link me to it I'd appreciate that.
