I bought Market Samurai a couple of weeks ago because having used the trial I knew that I'd find the keyword analysis and backlinks statistics very useful, but I just can't get my head around the best way to actually manage sites with it...

I'm not sure if each individual site requires a separate project or whether I can incorporate them all into one project for one. Secondly, I don't understand why when you create a project, you have different tabs for keywords, but then you can also add keywords to them?!

I currently use Rank Tracker to monitor my sites' rankings daily and that works great, I can check all the rankings in one click but MS seems so much more complicated...

-Appoach local businesses (tons in my small town) and look to build websites for them. I am currently looking at restaurants as most just require an about page, contact info, and menu info. I have a couple WYSIWYG softwares on my computer that I can use to create a professional looking site.

-Sell the making of the site for 200$ and charge 25-30$/month to maintain and host it on my 20$/month reseller hosting plan.

- Why I think it will work:

-Most local businesses haven't entered the online age yet, I give them a reason and affordable way to do so.

-Some website creation firms charge from 400-2500$ for a professional website, I can give them something pretty darn close and functional for a fraction of that.

-25$ a month seems like a decent amount to an individual, but that is nothing for a business. The amount of increased exposure or revenue generated through the internet can easily make up for less than 1$ a day to have a website for you business.Plus, having a website SIGNIFICANTLY increases a small business' reputation and general appearance to its customers. (If you don't have a website yet, you seem like you really are stuck in 2000).

-Gonna definitely use your the fact that smartphones have a hard time to view flash sites to entice customers into taking my HTML sites.

-Gonna be aiming big(Give myself an opportunity to grow if I can). I have access to SuNukex so I can raise monthly pricing if I can get onto the top 3 pages of google. This can keep me going further and higher as I expand.

-Give a steep discount to my first couple clients on site building if they act as a reference for my future client and give me possible leads.

I just recently bought Scrapebox. I filtered down my lists from about 13,000 initial url's to the best 500 or so for 2 campaigns. I am trying to go for high pr low outbound links. I checked the next day now and none of the 1000 are approved. I'm guessing that I'm doing something wrong, unless the software isn't working.

I tried to manually post to a couple of them:

I noticed that quite a few had 0 posts. I think I remember that we shouldn't post to blogs like that as they may not work? How do we filter those out with SB?

I was using my anchor texts of no more than 4 words each. I realize that would make the approval rate go down, but isn't it worth it? Or does it go down by so much that it's just best to write a regular name in instead? Or, if my keyword is big red dogs, should I try to just put my name as "big" for one, "red" for another, and "dogs" for another comment. Will that result in higher approval and still help my site via anchor text?

My business JUST got placed on google maps today and I'm just a little dot on the map compared to some of my other competitors. I talked to the google rep and she said something about "Google has a specific algorithm" blah blah blah. Who do I need to blow around here to get some exposure?

I completed my google places page to 92%
My web-site is pretty solid, page 1,2 for most of my keywords
Good on-page and off page seo

My business location does kind of suck though, it's pretty much WEST of all the competition, however I wouldn't think that would stop me from getting on the top 10 of the local searches.

Exact Searches for main keyword is 6600 and CPC = 7.4$
For other keywords exact searches are around 700-4400 and the cpc is 2.5$ - 8.5$.

It it has quality articles, quality links and the PR of the main page is 3.

Ok I know some of you will think this is a dumb question, but how much impact does list size have on Scrapebox?
the reason I ask is I just loaded in a 13mb website list and a big link list, and Scrapebox is hitting 100% to 90% CPU use. It's still working, it's just a bit slower than when I had it using smaller lists. Then CPU use was like 1% and super fast. Is this normal, and should I maybe split up my big lists for better performance?
