I've been trying to figuere out weather its worth changing one of my site's themes since its current CTR is sitting at around 0.60% which to say the least, is pure crap.
What kind of impact should I be expecting if I do change the theme?

| Most of my sites hacked Posted: 29 Sep 2011 09:09 PM PDT I noticed most of my wordpress sites got hacked some how. They are loading up a bunch of urls in the status bar that I've never seen before. Most of the time they redirect to some other page. I have no idea how to fix it either. :( |
| How do you know why your rep went down? Posted: 29 Sep 2011 09:04 PM PDT Well guys today this guy made a post saying he would show us[BHW] how to make money. I signed up for the site and realized it was spam/scam. I had looked it up on google but people said it was an ok site so i went for it. Anyways I came back to the thread to report it as scam/spam. I would link the thread but it got deleted already I believe. So what I am think is that the OP of the thread got mad at me and took it out on my rep :( I just wanted to know were can I find this info to know for sure. Thanks |

(at request of my aff manager, he insisted to guide me trough the whole process) but i could not get the bids below $1.95 a click!!
that is freaking ridiculous right? I narrowed the demos down and down but the bid was just too high, does anyone now why do they do this or how to get it down?
i realy doubt someone is profiting from such high bids, if the offers pays like $4
you will need a 50% conversion rate to make some dough (which makes me think it is ridiculous

Hence I need to generate leads of individuals that have financial trading accounts i.e. access to equity, forex, debt, or commodity futures markets.
That would be your job. To market and generate leads. I can close the customer.
To recap
You would
1) Market generate leads
2) Have a method to accept wire transfers (you would get the money first)
I would
1) Sell/Close the lead (i.e. convert the lead to a client)
2) Continue to communicate with lead/client and give them new trade ideas.
This is 100% above board, but aggressive sales tactics will of course be used. That is my job.
In terms of how lucrative...median income per client should be about $10k. Some will be huge, some will be small, median is $10k.
On that 10K we can split it 40% you and 60% me.

| My competitors Adsense tactic Posted: 29 Sep 2011 06:56 PM PDT I can't seem to figure out why my competitor took this approach to his niche site, so maybe you folks can shed some light on the subject for me.
His site just landed at number 2 in Google for his main keyword, and the site is about 3 months old.
He refrained from adding any Adsense ads on the site until he hit number 2.
Once he landed on the first page at #2 he added Adsense after the fact.
What was the benefit to doing that? Am I missing something obvious?

New to the site - been around building sites since '97. I was a lot better at it back then than I am now. :D Hard to believe a person could get WORSE at something but I did lol.
Have run sites since '04 that sell hard goods. No real recurring revenue (without a lot of work) and lots of bumps along the way - first with a major hit on froogle / google products, and then with the economy. We're a B2B business so when businesses quit spending, it starts to suck for us.
Anyway... i'm ready to get back into really making money "online" instead of just generating calls online. Hoping I can pickup on even 1/2 of what you all know.

I am doing what i should of done ages ago and trying to find what traffic converts the best for me. The thing I want to track is, traffic from which referrers and keywords click my affiliate link the most. To achieve this I am using google analytics goals. I currently redirect a page to my affiliate link e.g. www.myblog.com/download redirects to my clickbank link. However if I set the page www.myblog.com/download as a goal in google analytics it doesn't register any visitors as it redirects instantly to the affiliate link. So now I changed the goal to be the page which has the link to the redirected affiliate link (if you see what I mean) and that does register but it still wont tell me how many actually click the affiliate link. In short: Any ideas how I could set my blog/google analytics goals so I can track which keywords/referreres give me the traffic which clicks my affiliate link the most often. I would like to know how I could get my site to work like this.
I have a site that was doing ok in adsense about $20/25 per day. All of a sudden my earnings dropped dramatically along with my CTR. I was getting $90 ecpm with CTR at around 25%.
At that point I wanted my site ranked on page 1 for certain keywords so i paid for a service that has been working great. But now my traffic is going right up but my earnings are crap.
So I want to try this: but not sure how to.
When search engines spider my site, I want it to see the existing site that is already there. Also any direct traffic or referrers that are not from search engines, to see the site as it is.
But for people coming from search engines through keywords I'd like for them to go to an clickbank product. Or affiliate product that would go in my site niche.
I know this can be done as I have seen something similar for people using edu sites for viagra rankings. I know it's a little different but any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I've got a site that has been growing rapidly and steadily now for a few months, its getting about 15k uniques / month, I've added adsense a couple months ago and its been generating a little over $100/month.
CTR 0.60% , I know its bad, not sure why, Got a big block under the title and another skyscraper on the right side.
CPC $0.85
I've been thinking about replacing the skyscraper ad with a CPA offer, now I remember reading a long time ago that google doesnt like seeing affiliate links, do I need to cloak it? if so, whats the best way to do this?

| Omegle Bot Posted: 29 Sep 2011 03:23 PM PDT  This is a bot i have been working on,The interaction with Omegle is done with HttpWebRequest (C#).Once there is a captcha detected,The webbrowser resets my ip (via modem) Then continues spamming,100% automated.The smaller frames to the right are pretty much for testing,I use those to act like actual threads to see how long it takes to get a captcha from omegle.The Master client actually uses threading but right now it just uses 1 (but capable of multiple) Let me know what you guys think so far,Also any ideas you might have (features,etc) |
