My problem is deciding which niche I want to go ahead with. What are some key factors you look for when deciding? Competition, how to monetize , etc..... I always want to do them all and I have trouble just sticking to one. Any thoughts?

Hey everyone, I am learning VB.NET to make a spam bot. I need to spider the sites I'm going to be spamming and only collect links that are within a certain subdirectory of the site.

Do I need to write my own custom spidering/link harvesting code, or is there a program that will do this for me? I think Httrack would do it...just looking for suggestions because I need to harvest alot of links to use with my bot

7 Reasons Why I Won’t Write A $15 Blog Post

1. I’d rather quit writing. If that’s all I’m going to make, I’d rather go out on the lawn and play Frisbee with my kids. They’ll only be young once. If I can’t really pay the bills writing, I should pack it in and enjoy life.


2. I won’t be part of the problem. I won’t contribute to the current downward spiral in pay rates by accepting insulting pay. If I accept this kind of work, it reinforces the idea that high-quality content on specialized topics can be obtained from professional writers at one-tenth or less of what was, until recently, market rates. I refuse to encourage this trend.


3. Low paying work begets more low-paying work. Say I worked for this legal content sweatshop, and managed to convince one of their clients to work for me directly. Even if the connection helped me land other clients and I cut out the middleman, I’m doubtful the wages would be appropriate. Any client I got through my association with this low-payer would likely also want to pay me joke wages. Once customers have the impression you’re cheap, it’s hard to convince them you’re not.

So if it comes to it, I’ll do something else to pay the bills. My creativity will be fairly compensated, or I’ll earn money another way. I know that threads about Market Samurai alternatives have been posted here before, but none too recently, so I felt it was OK to post a new request.
Seems like some Market Samurai issues (slowness etc) have always been dependent on Adobe Air. Today they pushed through an update claiming that Adobe Air 3 was the way forward, but I have also read that Adobe are not going to run Linux support anymore.

This is very bad news for me. I am not gonna run some vmware on my 4gb ram notebook to start fragile XP or bloated Windows 7 just in order to run this program.

Any ideas? As it is now I've already flushed money down the drain when I purchased a Market Samurai license that I will never be able to use.

I've been using an internal link building plugins which basically creates an anchor text links to my main page from my inner pages. But I'm afraid that its causing some issues since it creates those links in the comments section as well having around 5 same anchor text urls created linking to my page and my sites has been dropped like 2 weeks ago from page 2 to page 10 and bounces around there not sure if its the internal linking issue or just google dance, can anyone please advice?

And yes I have set the permission of 1 anchor text url per page of the same keywords, and pretty much on every page of mine there is 2-3 same type of anchor text pointing back to my main page. Please advice!

Ok, for the first time since I thought about starting with IM, I started to do some CONSISTENT work, I've applied myself and I decided to start with these filehosts which seem to be very popular right now, more exclusively Filesonic and Wupload which pay about $40 for every 1000 downloads, I've been posting exactly 100 unique, medium quality posts every day on EACH of the top 20 traffic warez forums, most of this posts are about the most popular daily games/movies/tv and music warez releases.

So we're talking about 2000 posts every day scattered amongst all these forums.

And I sadly have to say that my expectations were in no way reached, my expectations for this was that I would have AT LEAST 10 downloads for each post, which would make me some 20.000 downloads a day, this was my minimal expectation considering the quality of my posts and the fact that I was posting on high traffic forums.

Instead, I am getting no more than 200 downloads a day, thats 1 download for every 10 posts.

At this point I sincerely do not understand how are there any other filesonic and wupload affiliates making over $200 a day, I'm working my ass off posting on forums, almost 6 hours a day and I'm not even making $20 a week...

Can anyone offer advice/suggestion as to what might I be doing wrong?

Okay. I opened an account on a shared host.

Installed WordPress 3.2.1. Set it up for MultiSite using folders.

So let's say everything is on mydomain.com.

I went into my control panel (cpanel) and added another domain (I can host unlimited domains). I added otherdomain.com and Cpanel put the site under mydomain.com/otherdomain.com (public_html/otherdomain.com).

I changed the dns of otherdomain.com to be the same as mydomain.com.

I added a site in Wordpress and that's where everything burped. I added otherdomain to the site listings.

Now what the hell do I do?

How does typing in otherdomain.com pull up a fresh install of Wordpress?

I know there is a Scraping module but I am not having much sucess with it, e.g. tweets with URL's in, company names etc.

Then I got his message:
That bit.ly link (you can check it out, looks clean) takes you to a page where the link to the actual document he mentioned is at the bottom of the page. Not very visible but you get there once you scroll down the whole page.

Are you using Wordpress via Hostgator Shared Hosting? Chances are you've probably been hacked. I have several shared hosting accounts with Hostgator in which 2/3 were hacked and had this problem.

How the hack works:

When a user searches Google for a keyword that you rank for and clicks on your search result they will be redirected to http://uniqtext.com/search.php?theme=KEYWORD

This will only happen the first time, if someone searches your site and finds it in the SERPs again it will go to your actual website. This hack uses some sort of "throttling" which means that it may not happen the first time for everyone either. My sites Analytics that were affected "flatlined" to within ~10-15 visits each day. As you know, most sites Analytics fluctuate greatly but these flatlined completely, reducing my overall traffic by 30%

How to identify and fix the problem:

The affected hack adds some type of encrypted PHP to your functions.php.

Via FTP navigate to domain.com/wp-include/functions.php
The first 6 lines will have something that looks like this
I have truncated most of it, but thats the general idea. In order to fix it you will want to remove everything between

Again this should be the first six lines of code ONLY. Reupload the fixed functions.php and have a friend do a Google check on a fresh IP/computer to see if you fixed it properly.

I would recommend fixing this problem ASAP. Two of my websites have lost #1 rankings as a result of this. I'm sure the bounce rate was HORRIBLE and Google wasn't pleased.

Check it out... not too far yet but you can probably figure out what it does. Its the find DMOZ listed expired domains method but adds content scraping. I'm building in a batch operation mode. So you can load your list of proxies, load a list of keywords, and give it a few parameters (like minimum pagerank etc) and then it will run through and look for matching DMOZ domains, find out which ones are available, and for the ones that are available rip the old content from the internet archive so you can buy the domain and breathe new life into the site so it looks to G-snoogle like it is still the same thing. Load it up, click a button, come back in a few hours and you'll have a drive full of content ready to go to regenerate the sites. I was building it for my own personal use so its not very polished and still needs a lot of work, de-dupe scraped results to unique domains, multi-threading, etc. etc.

Anyway, I'd be interested in any thoughts or suggestions.

I recently lost a dispute on ebay cause of a buyer. I drop shipped and didnt do it correctly im from canada and the item came from China..buyer told ebay and won..now im trying to see if i can win thru paypal is it possible? I talked to paypal there holding my money but it will be accessible on the 22nd they talked to ebay customer service and they and they said they got no information..so it seems that paypal has no clue of what went on, on ebay.. i just wanna f*ck over the buyer cause this buyer was an a**hole about the whole situtation i knew i was in trouble and was tryna work it out but the buyer soo wanted me to get banned..also the original of the fake item i sold retail price is $300 i sold on ebay for $150 (anyone with a brain would know its too good to be true) anyways just wanted to know if its possible to win on paypal?
