Ok, so here's the point. Never ever put any websites, niches or whatever on flippa that you may not be able to sell. People are surfing flippa and ripping entire sites. Happened to a site I sold, luckily.. I've seen two complete replicas so far. And they even rank for similar keywords. They ripped everything right down to the html.

After this experience, I think I am going to be focusing on larger authority sites. I mean, if some assh*le can just copy your entire site and start ranking for keywords that fast, well, just proves that G is nothing but a stupid bot.

So I was running one CPA (email submit) offer thru a Facebook fan page and got this message from Facebook after about 30 minutes of running the ads:

"Ad Dissaproved: The content promoted in this ad is not permitted on Facebook. We reserve the right to choose the advertisements that appear on the site, and ads for this product or service should not be resubmitted. Please visit our Help Center for more specific information."

The ad was for a Justin Bieber fan page which featured his pic and the following text: "Justin Bieber fan? Visit our page! Go Justin!"

Funny thing is that I have 10 other ads that have the same ad copy, just a different Bieber image, and they are all fine...

After about 1 hour I got this message from FB:

Hi, for those who don't know I started a thread a few months back talking about my sale of several websites that were getting high amounts of traffic thanks to twitter.

Yes, I was spamming twitter with a tool called "wp tweet bomb" (no longer available). At the time I was sending like 4 to 6 tweets per minute and I was getting more than two thousand visitors in the second week at one website alone. It was great and my first success in the IM world. I sold those sites for a few thousand dollars.

In the following months twitter become better in finding this kind of accounts and those got banned in just a few days after created. I was like "ok, I am done with twitter!! I need a more stable strategy!!" and that was the moment that I was trying to rank good with google doing all kinds of SEO but what I really hate about it, is the amount of time you need to wait to see results.

Yes!! You make some changes hoping to do the right stuff only to see NOTHING two weeks later. I really hate that, I was used to immediate results.

For those not familiar with the use of twitter to drive traffic to your site, let me tell you that is amazing how fast you can get results!!! I'm not talking of months or weeks or days or hours but minutes!. I still remember the first time that I look at my stats from bit.ly after I installed that plugin. It was amazing to see how people were at my site (an autoblog by the way) an the next day my adsense account was getting some cash too.

Ok, I don't know what is going on and I can't get a straight answer. I've been looking all over for the last 3 days and so I'm asking for your help.

For some reason SB won't scrape Google for me anymore.

It's not proxies, I have private dedicated ones and to make sure that they weren't banned I asked for fresh new ones from my provider and still SB is having the issue.

I've tested the proxies in scrapebox and they pass the google test.

I even tried scraping with my home IP and no luck.

I'm using a custom foot print: intitle:."blahblah" " -"comments closed" "leave a comment"

It's not working. Am I doing something wrong with the ":."?

I even tried clicking on "wordpress" for the auto footprint and nothing turns up.

It's weird, Google shows no activity, Yahoo and Bing use a crap load of bandwidth but return like 100 results.

What could be the issue?

Ok so I have been working on fiverr doing logo gigs. My first sale actually became a frequent buyer so we traded skype info and she asked if I could help her develop some of her sites. I thought she just wanted logos and banners but she needs a site analysis seo and graphic modification on her sites. Im kinda in over my head because I only worked with WP b4 and im still struggling with it. I could go the fiverr route and outsource but im limited on funds. Im wating on fiverr and cpa money to help me out (2 week wait) but I just told her I have big clients who are keeping me very busy. Scrapebox is pretty much useless at the moment and it just won't work for me.
I have 250 or so scraped proxies that have all been checked but Google doesn't return anything, Yahoo and AOL return error messages.
What's the problem? It's only just started doing this.

I have a site that was getting over 1000 unique visits everyday until about May of this year. It had the "SEO search terms tagging" plugin on it, and since then I have read of at least a few other BHW members that have attributed a harsh google slap to this plugin.

I have now taken it off of the site, and although some people might say to just edit the plugin to remove it's footprints:

1) I don't know all that much about editing plugins

and

2) I'm pretty sure even if you did remove the footprints, that the site wouldn't pass a manual g review with that plugin running on it. Actually, I'm pretty sure that that's exactly what happened to my site, as I was running the plugin with no problems form like 6 months to a year before I noticed a big drop in visits / traffic from google.

My question then is:

How many of you have noticed something similar with either this or another plugin and did your sites come back after you removed the offending plugin? And if so, how long did it take for the site to start ranking / getting good traffic again?

Also, if there were any steps that you took / strategies that you used to get your sites back up and running, please share them here!
