I have scrapebox n AMR and usually use onlywire, rank builder bookmarking, how to maximize that tools 3. I am attempting to email CL Housing postings as a Real Estate Agent. I'm hoping that 1/50 people I message would be interested in using me to help sell their property. Since I include my identifying info in my response emails, if CL took notice they could easily send me a cease & desist, or a perhaps even a lawsuit. I want to send about 500 emails per day. Do you know if they would take notice, and if so what the legal risks are here? How fast would CL send me a cease & desist, or would I be at risk for legal action for contacting these postings? What strategy would you recommend? | |

| PHP vs ASP for my new site - SEO benefits? Posted: 21 Feb 2011 06:50 PM PST I'm getting a new site designed and have narrowed it down to 2 designers. the initial brief was for php. I'm an old school designer and can only really work in HTML, but have a little knowledge of PHP. the designer we like the most only works with .asp of which I know not much. Some quick googling tells me there may be some speed issues with asp compared to php, can anyone back this up? Also does anyone with knowledge of the 2 languages have any opinions relating to SEO, my current html site ranks really well and I don't want to lose that. Another point is that my current host, which I have just paid another year of hosting and security cert, does not support asp, so I would also need to migrate the site to another host. i can use that hosting for another site so the money spent is not really an issue, but how would changing hosts affect my rankings at the same time as the site being changed. Any well informed help would be appreciated. | |

The site is two years old, and gets much higher traffic during weekends, as it seems to attract mostly teenage males who are out of school. Traffic varies by day, but we usually get 300-400 uniques per day, with some days spiking into the several thousands. Here are my site stats below:  We earn $35 to $40 a month off of adsense, with only several clicks a day. Thing is... We only get a few clicks per day, and our CTR is a dismal 0.04%. :( Does anyone have any ideas, black, grey, or whitehat that could improve revenue off the site? I am not sure how I can get more clicks without getting banned, but it seems a pity for a site with decently valued ads and high traffic to get such low return. If posting the link to my forum would help, I would be happy to do that. | |

I linked this up successfully with a few Gmail accounts in the past, but right now I can't seem to get it to link up so that when someone sends an e-mail to me(at)mysite it is automatically directed to my Gmail account. I have gone to settings - accounts and import - send mail as. I have set this up and sending an e-mail in Gmail will successfully be sent from me(at)mysite. But if someone replies to the me(at)mysite e-mail, it is sent to my webmail but never directed into my Gmail account. Am I missing a step? I tried to figure this out and I can't remember doing more than what I mentioned above in previous setups for this. Any help is appreciated! | |

People will more likely follow you back if you already have a bunch of followers, more = your account look more interesting. So I checked out to see if I could find a decent Twitter Train. But many of them still require username and password, they simply haven't been updated to oAuth. And if they have oAuth they suck and give you very little followers. What if someone created a tottaly fair Twitter Train? Maybe even open-source it. Every user that login will follow all users already in the database. Simple thing. 20th user register and will automatically follow 19 users, that 19 users will all follow the new user. Sounds like a fun project and should be fairly simple to do. My number 1 competitor for my top keyword (12,000 exact a month) deleted a majority of the text on one of his pages, that was pulling for the top keyword, and posted a link to my website instead. I just had a friendly conversation with him via e-mail and he said he was getting to many e-mails about the page and he was tired of answering them since it was really about his overall website. His whole site doesn't contain any advertisements or any way to make money, just some guy with a really old domain that had a page get popular on accident. He has a hit counter at the bottom that I have been watching for the last 2 months. According to the hit counter his page is getting around 20k hits per month! It has 251,000 total hits since April 03, 2010. I am so excited, this guy just deleted most of the content on his page and posted a link to my site instead, for FREE! I am currently at position 6 page 1 for the keyword that I am talking about, but I should be in the top 3 soon now! My adsense ads pay around $1.50 a click but don't seem to be converting well with the Kobal theme. I'm thinking about trying the image ads but I know they pay significantly less. Also I thought I should add that the owner of this website that did this for me is a little hippie. His site is about free expression, open debate, and legalization... I've been doing this for about maybe a little over a week now going on 2 weeks, and i'm at the top of the 3rd page in GOOGLE for a keyword that gets searched a little over 45k times a month (according to google keyword tool). So I have been building backlinks from numerous sources, and I am using traffic travis and seoquake plugin for firefox to check for the backlinks. When I am checking to see if squidoo lens url is indexed in yahoo, it isn't. But the funny thing is when i'm checking traffic travis, i try to get back the backlinks indexed on google for that url, and it always turns up 0. I look for backlinks from google on seoquake, and it says i have 0. Then on traffic travis, when i am checking backlinks for the yahoo SE, it's coming up with well over 500, and it's about the same exact number when i check seo quake. How am i getting backlinks indexed in yahoo but not google, and I have a 3rd page ranking for google when all the backlinks are coming from yahoo se? wtf? | |

Around 9,000 - 11,000, it starts hanging it. It will freeze for 10 to 15 seconds, and then go through a whole bunch really fast, freeze again, etc. Around 15,000 - 20,000 it freezes permanently. I recently did some blog comments on a few ******** autoapprove blogs I found with sick submitter template I made. I woke up today and noticed that one of the sites I commented on is outranking my website. Actually the comments are ranking #1 and #2 and the page has nothing to do with my keyword no on page SEO for the word only my comment is making it rank for the keyword. My page is currently on page 11, up from page 30. I noticed that a few pages I commented on from this domain are ranking above my website. I really don't get it. The site itself has only 18 backlinks according to site explorer and the blog is a hosted blog with a subdomain. I have about 30 backlinks showing in siteexplorer which are a mixture of blog comments, forum profiles, and web 2.0. Most of my backlinks havent been indexed yet and I have been holding off on a scrapebox blast until a few of my web 2.0 sites are backlinked so I don't only have a ton of crappy blog comments. At this point I really don't get it and more confused than ever. | |

While I'm confident in my programming abilities to mask the fact that I'm sending automated queries, I plan to launch a (paid) program that will allow you to more easily track your rankings yourself. My concern is getting a C&D from google for selling the program. So, what defenses do I have against them doing that? Are there hosting companies that won't turn over my information? Are there country specific laws that would allow me to sell this program if I license my company there? I'm leaning towards the 300x250 adsense blocks, but not sure where to place them. I don't want to make it look too spammy, and I want a good ctr%. Do I place the block inside my content, above it, in a side-bar? Whats has been your best placement in your experiences, if you don't mind me asking? I was thinking about placing (2) 300x250 blocks below my header and above my content, but I'm worried that will just create ad-blindness for the visitor. | I started Advertising on Facebook, i need some help Posted: 21 Feb 2011 01:49 PM PST Hi, Since i have lots of fb accounts with $50 in advertising credits in each i looked around and i thou of starting a new website for people to watch episodes for free of a certain tv serie but before i would create my own website i tested with someone else's website i found on google to see if facebook would approve it. So i created the campaign put their url and the campaign got approved but i was sleeping already so it run till the morning. here's the results:  is the results any good? like it looks like not many clicks.. i paid per 1000 views not per click since i read somewhere paying for thousand views is better. any suggestions? ima create my own website and will put cpa l e a d on them any ideas or suggestions are welcomed :p btw can i promote the same url over 10+ different accounts? |
