Do we need profile links indexed or just crawled, for the link to our site to count?

I always thought indexed but a lot of spammers I'm meeting recently just use linklicious and tell me they see the boost from profile links as good as if they were indexed. They tell me there is no need to index. I'd like to believe them as it would save me having to make a massive network of 50+ BLE blogs and with a WP Syndicator on each (10 x 50 web 2.0 properties = 500) a massive amount of work.

What do you guys think?

I've been selling on Clickbank for years. I have several products and I'm about to add a ton more in a whole lot of new niches.

I've never had any problems, but the bigger my business gets and the more money is coming in the more I worry about somebody trying to file a lawsuit. The more you put yourself out there the more chances you have of some nut trying to sue you.

I don't do anything over the edge, but like most Clickbank products I do use hyped up sales letters and that is what has worked for me.

I'm just worried that someday somebody's going to try to sue me for fraud or something.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I've been doing a lot of research and I can't find any cases.

Working with SEO software for quite some time, but just recently started looking in SEnuke.

I realize the incredible power of SEnuke, particulary due the fact that its modularity gives incredible flexibility.

And: The most important thing (this is why SENuke is KING of all other SEo software):
To use SENuke successfully you need to have a strategy beforehand so you know how to use the modules and why!

Anyway..here is the question:

I was going through some training and courses, and there are several approaches to use accounts in the *Bookmarking* module. If you load SEnuke they tell you to use multiple accs...so i made 7 or so, even on different IPs.

But in some of the training courses they talk about that its really good to make "networks", eg. save your profiles and info, one for weight-loss, the other for IM etc...makes a lot of sense.

In one course (Vita Vee's course i think) he only used ONE account and username..eg. he made one username and saved the projects/profiles under "Internet Marketing". Then another new user/accounts for "weight loss" etc.

My question here is whether its a problem to use one username/acc..or would it be better again to make, say, 5 bookmarking accounts for EACH niche.

Also..what about making TOO MANY accounts? (More than 5?) The problem i am seeing is that the theory behind the "networks" covering a topic is really GOOD...but using too many accounts would then dilute the network? (Since SEnuke would always randomly chose one acc to bookmark...so it would be harder to establish a "network" with users about a certain topic as opposed to only using one username for bookmarking)..if you understand what i mean.

So..you SENuke pros..how do you do this? How many accounts do you make for bookmarking?

If these "gurus" are making a lot of money doing X, why would they even bother creating a course ? Out of the goodness of their hearts? Wouldn't they be saturating the markets with more competition hence making them less money?

I'm writing a paper on bias on the internet and I've interviewed a few SEOs who prescribe vehemently to White Hat SEO, but I really want the Black Hat SEO perspective. So if you can answer any or all of these questions that would be great! I don't want this large part of the debate to be left unheard.


Do you believe Google search results are biased? Or do you believe that they provide, for the most part, the most relevant and reliable data on the web for keywords terms?

If you answered yes to the first question, what do you believe creates this bias and in which groups of keywords do you believe it is most prevalent?

"White Hat" SEO practices are said to be those "approved by Google", but they still in a way manipulate search results, do you think this leads to a better or worse experience for the searcher (basically does it make search more or less relevant?)

Do you believe that "Black Hat" SEO is being monitored and controlled well by Google or do you believe that a lot of it is going on without Google's knowledge?

Google uses many indicators to rank sites using their algorithms, but it is well known that number and quality of links play a major role. Many times it is a lot easier for large corporations to get respectable links than the smaller guys and also it may lead to a "rich getting richer" problem where because you rank first you get more links. Do you believe this is fair?

Do you believe that Google should be allowed to manually change the results? Does this create bias?

If you were to hypothetically create a search engine that everyone in the world would use, would you rank sites the same way Google does? If not how would you rank them?

I see the website, wondering if this is a good idea. They list the pr of the website your requesting anchoring content text to. It sounds like it could be a cheaper ppc alternative.

I'm just throwing this idea out. You can use it if you want and know how to make it work. But it's actually something that I'm considering creating and then licensing out.

I'm throwing this out here to get an idea to see if there is any interest in this type of business.

My consulting firm creates visualmercials for websites which includes walk-on models for the websites, video headers, video email, visualmercials and even television and print advertising. (PM me for access to demo site)

We're always looking for fresh faces.

The problem has been that we always have to rely upon our videographers or photographers to find good models.

My thinking is to license and train Talent Agents to identify models for the videographer or photographer.

All you need, besides the training, is a digital camera (10mpx min.), dress appropriately, business cards (we provide template) and some time so you can hang around the mall, restaurants, college campuses and other places models may be.

We're not only seeking females, we're also seeking males but we find males are not that difficult to find. Males love to have their photos taken with beautiful women.

Most of the photos we use are lingerie, swimsuit, athletic and casual wear. We use a lot of lingerie shots because that's what grabs the attention for the ads we produce.

We'll provide the following:
1. Complete training
2. Ongoing support
3. Model Recruit Website
4. Business Card template
5. All Appropriate Contracts, Agreements & Model Release Forms

Best of all, you don't have anything to sell. You never have to go and identify clients (we already have those). Your job is basically to find the type of models we're seeking, take their photos/videos, interview them and if they qualify then you refer them to the videographer/ photographer.

Recruiting models is pretty easy. If you can hand someone your business card or at least leave it on the table -- you can do this. They then visit your website and everything is done for you. They have to call or email you to arrange for an interview and the "test shot" that you'll do for us.

Models who are serious know that they have to stay in constant contact with their agents (you) so having a date or companionship shouldn't be a problem. Especially, when they're the ones picking up the tab for meals. 8-)

This would be strictly a freelance position. It's part-time so won't interfere with your regular job. The pay comes to about $25 to $50 per model referred. Plus 10% of model fees on all work they do for us.

This is not a "get rich quick" business. How much you earn will depend upon how proactive you are.

I'm thinking the entire business kit would run about $2500.

I'm trying to get an idea of what to charge for something like this. Should I charge more? What you think you might need to succeed? What information would you need before plunking down $2500? What, if anything, do you see as a possible obstacle?

Let me explain why I've come up with this idea...

My consulting firm produces a lot of visualmercials and television commercials for small business owners and other consultant's clients. We stay pretty busy. The problem I've run into is that once models know that I produce visualmercials and tv commercials I start receiving tons of photos and videos. Some of them are tame and some of them are rather explicit. All of them are unwanted because I have better things to do than delete this crap off of my server.

I know, it's a problem you'd love to have. However, most of these models are in areas where my videographers and photographers are not. So, it doesn't do me any good to have a willing model in San Antonio, Tx when my videographer is in Oaklahoma City, Ok.

I thought a better alternative would be to have others filter this out for me. In addition, I'm going to be creating another business kit for freelance videographers to help with creating the visualmercials we create for small business owners. I have 17 right now who are working around the clock but we're not even keeping up at this point. The worse the economy gets the more demand there is for all of our services.

The JV comes from those we license will become our outsource suppliers for models. Sorry, this isn't going to be one of those JV's where sweat equity will be necessary.

Ill start off with a tip I received from "localdominator" in regards to bypassing the post card verification, the theory is if you open a new gmail account with your firstname.lastname4273@gmail.com then open a listing it will allow you to phone verify it,

now Ive tried to no avail, heres what I did:

- Multiple local IPs
- GP listing had the same phone number as the gmail account
- even had my last name as part of the "business name" ex. Daniels Repair Man.
- GP listing had an address in the same city as the IP.

There must be more to it, any ideas, knowledge, hypothesis?

Anyway, it's about tracking affiliates during the actual pre launch period. I'm just wondering is it possible that I track affiliates during the pre launch when they send their lists emails about my pre launch videos, even before the sales page is even up?

I'll be using 1shoppingcart for this, so it would help if you have any experience like that.

Is it all done through cookies? It would really suck if some of my affiliates would refer potential customers to me and then not be able to make their money just because the actual launch email hasn't reached their lists inboxes at that particular time.

Can I just use code generated from 1sc just the same as if I would on the launch date and if they decide to purchase then the affiliate who first referred them to the pre-launch videos gets his/her sale commission?

This is my first bigger launch, so I'd appreciate the help.

So I set up my site, its been about a week now. I don't expect anything special by this point obviously. However, I've looked through the competitors. Top site is an authority site, I'm not going to out rank them for my keyword I'm sure. Second site is shopping site focused on health products. My site is more specific so I reckon I can eventually out rank maybe?

The third site, however, is just an MFA site. And it has 5 backlinks. Below that are sites with way more backlinks. I looked at who these backlinks are from, and one link is PR3 i think, and the rest are 0 and unknown. One of the sites was ehow, and I couldnt get the PR of that. Anyway, I still don't understnad how they are doing so well. There must be another factor, so how I can find out whats going on!? Is the only way I can analyse my competition to check backlinks? Surely not.

Many of you are already probably doing this but I thought I'd post it anyway. Sorry if its common knowledge.

if your managing multiple entities for SEO or BlackHat purposes you really don't want to be logging into different accounts with big G or anyone else using the same browser, cookie sets, bookmarks, etc.

Its way too easy to link you to your different properties and also you may make the mistake of logging into one entity with a proxy for a different entity and exposing your relation to it.

An easy and clean method to avoid cross pollinating your entities with one browser or IP is to setup a simple .bat file to run FF (instead of running it straight) and then use multiple browser instances with Fresh identities and cookies for each identity you manage.

the .bat file should be:

When you run it you can build multiple profiles that are all completely independent of each other in every way.

This way your bookmarks, plugins, proxies, cookies and everything are different for every identity that you have attached to site accounts.
