at the bottom of the theme theres some 3 text links to some insurance sites that need to be removed. they're not in the footer.php. I think it might be in the functions.php but that looks to be encoded. How do you remove them?

I have got some stuff which iam going to sell in some small forums like DP.
But the problem is that I know this guys from DP are not so good and will issue chargeback sort of things on my paypal even after getting their stuff...
So guys iam thinking of using any website or any such sort of thing thru which they cannot issue chargeback....So guys which sites can help me with this thing???

Hey guys,

Ive got a domain ready for a killer Microniche. But see my problem is, what want is a static 1 page write up that'll get amazon / clickbank sales and Adsense clicks... But our friend, the GOOG, likes updated content, constant crawling.

So, I have a means for blogging (semiautomated of course), but I want is shown in a certain way, with my important one-pager info front and center and the updating blog for the google crawl, just secondary.

Could I basically just make the home page my one-pager and then .com/blog/ for the blog and will that suffice? Or is there a wordpress theme or similar blogging engine theme that has like a predominant first top porton for static content and a blog beneath?

My main concern is the SEO because the top rank will come, it's just making sure it does and making it fully profitable asmuch as possible :)

WordPress template editing question

Yo, so im tryin to edit this theme from studiopress and all i want to do is switch the theme picture in the top left corner with mine. I saved the file as a .png through fireworks just like the original image. It is the exact size and named the same as the original as well. But when i re-zip the file and upload it to wordpress the theme goes bonkers and wont work. I cant quite tell if there is code within the original image. Anyone know what im missing here?

How long to get a check?

I finally reached the $100 threshold for adsense and have been waiting on my check.

According to my account payment issued December 21, 2010. In payment settings payment date December 23, 2010.
I got an email on Dec. 28 saying a payment has been issued.
Still no check!

I just wanted to ask people from the U.S how long does it usually take to get a check in the mail from them?

I have a blog on blogger.com and an adsense account. When I tried to add adsense to my blogger site it asks me whether I want to allow blogger to have access my adsense account. Do you guys recomend that, or should I not allow blogger.com access to my adsense account?????

since buildmyrank is not taking any more members and linkvana is so expensive, i am going to join authoritylinknetwork. the service is similar, but they dont charge anything. instead, you have to add your own blog to participate, and the blog has to be PR1+

I do have some blogs, but they are all PR0.
i have heard if you buy a domain from someone, at the next PR update, the PR goes to zero.
so how can i buy a high pr blog and avoid this problem?
from where?

and by the way, I am still not sure about ALN, if you have any suggestions for a blog network, that would be great.

couldnt find a post about this. I'm willing to use free proxies for URL gathering/PR checking. But want to purchase Proxies for blasts.

How many private or shared proxies (what do you prefer) would I need, I am just starting out with SB. So wouldn't need as many as you big gunners. But still will be doing alot of URL gathering and blasting.

I have 5 categories on my autoblog.
I will split the articles so each category gets 40 each.
What I want to do is upload them all at once and then publish 1 article per category per day.

Hey guys, I have made a quick $50k over the past 3 months, I want to get some "real" websites running, I have a few going at the minute, making me a few $$ on Adsen5e and some CPA, but I really want to get into clickbank or similar so I can have a site that will generate good income, maybe $100+ per day, I am willing to work, and do what ever it takes, so what do you guys think?

So I posted a gig on fiverr saying that I would make a short camtasia video for five bucks looking to make a little extra cash right. This guy contacted me saying he wanted me to fill in CPA offers and record doing it with a voice over. I wondered if he was really just doing it to get me to fill in the CPA offers so he could bank or if there was a real use for this. I am not super familiar with how much these offers pay. What do you guys think? Would it be worth it to pay somebody five bucks for certain offers? He was talking about xbox and ipad type offers.

How Do I Prevent Forum Spammers on VB?

Okay, so I mean before this scrapeboard came out it was basically just this one site that would be constantly spamming me, thankfully, I was on somebodys list of sites who didn't sell or share it. They blasted me like 3 days a week with maybe 10 posts/accounts TOPS.

Then scrapeboard came out and I'm getting at least that every few hours. I mean, comon, these are IDIOTS running scrapeboard. Who posts 42 times via scrapeboard on the same blog with the same account? I wish this tool were $1,000 just so this stuff wouldn't be happening with kids who don't know how to use a tool.

Can somebody recommend something for me to do short of personally activating accounts and approving posts? Like, is there some sort of legit captcha that isn't going to work on these sites? I noticed when I was using scrapeboard myself that some captchas claimed to have been downloaded but were simply a white box.

Google is indexing my tags.. should I be worried?

I am using a combination of two autotag plugins for my wordpress site. Separate, these plugins pretty much suck. Together, they suck a bit less. They are pulling out some keywords that don't really relate to the post, but 85% of the tags are good. If I try to delete the tags, the plugins just add them back, so I figure - whatever I'll let them stay. Google is indexing those tags individually and the content is that post content.

Question: Am I getting penalized with duplicate content from my own site? The content is 100% unique as typed by me.

Would these type of domain names be subject to DMCA and other similar crap?

For example, would domains such as *CelebrityNameHere*FanSite.com be liable to take downs and copyright infringement or any other legal crap? Is it easy to lose those type of domains if the site intent is commercial? Or does this only apply to companies and trademarks?

do i move the hosting to offshore, i see the complaint is from the domain.

My blogs are doing decent with ad sense, and kontera is starting to pick up.

I was hoping to captcher the traffic that just visits and bounces. So anyone who comes to the page from a search engine, sees the blog and instantly hits the back button.

ExitJunction is built specifically for this. But after a week on a couple of my biggest sites which average over 20k hits a day. Its making me 0.20 through 0.40 cents a day. Thats just not enough to keep it on there.

Are they any alternatives to this? Different methods for the same situation?

I work somewhere like a fertility bank (I don't, but we'll use that as an example). So I have access to about a couple hundred new targeted emails a month. Should I send them a link to a fertility website with clickbanks ad and adsense on it? It seems wrong, plus I don't want to lose my day job and it could get traced back to me. any thoughts?

ok this may be posted in the wrong section but its email related so i thought i could get a few useful suggestions here. I have a website thats almost done being developed. I Use godaddy for my hosting and email for the site. The domain name is also thru godaddy. Im having my developer set up the email alerts that need to be sent out to my resellers when they register, submit a customer order, forget their password, or the admin updates the status of one of their customers. Everything is coded but the mail settings for godaddy smtp servers dont work. I called these tards like 6 different times and got 20 different answers, then finally a supervisor tells me you cant send these types of mail alerts thru the smtp server. Is this true? I thought this was the purpose of smtp. He swears up and down you cant because of some security reason. I also tried sending them by having it coded to send from their relay-hosting.secureserver.net but these emails dont show up sometimes for an hour. My goal is to make sure these alerts reach their destination as quickly as possible and hopefully they hit the inbox as often as possible. Also i need them to come from whatever@mywebsite.com, not whatever@gmail, etc. Any help is much appreciated.

After a long break from Facebook (when the market was really hot, I worked 24/7) I'm back. It has almost been 7 months since I have made a Facebook fan page. How much are they worth nowadays? Lets say a 250K page, or 1 mil page.

And surely enough FaceBook is not dead, we all know there are still ways to earn money. If anyone is interested in JV or something with FaceBook let me know too. (I have FFAP).

Site got sandboxed the 2nd Time - will it be back?

Couple of my sites got sandboxed then they came back with even better ranking and now sanboxed again, I mean when I type my domains they're still showing but just not ranking for the keywords they were use to.

I've never stopped building backlinks building around 200 links daily, all sorts and different backlinks, the question is will they come back? Has anyone experienced the same thing? THank yoU!
