I plan on blasting the blogs that BMR placed my link on with SB.
I am not talking about the main homepage, but the exact page where my link is.
but I am worried that if I do this, they may get a spam complaint and shut down my account and remove all my links. Is this possible?

I have been lurking on the warrior forum for a little while, getting the emails for WSOs, doing research, etc. and I've discovered that the WSO section can be a giant circle jerk. I never see any bad reviews on the popular WSOs. To me, that's a giant red flag because there is always someone who dislikes even the best products. Further, many of the good reviews seem to be from the same cluster of people. So I got on some of their mailing lists and (big shock) all they do is promote WSOs of the day – and each other's WSOs.

There's a lot of money to be made online and I don't think you should always have to dupe people - or prey on newbies - to get it. This also makes the good products look suspect and hurts marketers who are honestly trying to help new people. Looking at the WSOs available there, particularly the SEO and affiliate marketing products, I'm very glad I never spent any real money on them... they're all the same! It amazes me how they all get these great reviews as such brilliant and innovative products (from non-affiliates). I should build a list just to get in on the action (or sell a crap affiliate marketing product).

Here is the WSO SEO Plan in a nutshell:
1. Use whatever tools you have to generate a huge keyword list. (Market Samurai, Scrapers, Keyword *****, Traffic Travis, Google KW tool, etc.)
2. Throw that keyword list into an analysis program like Market Samurai or Traffic Travis
3. Out of the thousands of keywords generated, use the analysis results to pick a primary keyword that you can realistically rank for (what those numbers are varies, but let's say we'll use MS golden rules for this example). Also pick a handful of related secondary keywords that don't have insane competition.
4. Buy a domain that has your primary KW in it.
5. Create a WordPress blog around affiliate products related to that KW.
6. Create some content for it, with the main page featuring the main KW and other posts featuring secondary KW's.
7. Monetize your posts with affiliate products (CB, CJ, CPA, Amazon, etc.)
7. Link it with social media
8. Regularly post to your social media accounts and new blog to have a steady flow of fresh content.
9. Build backlinks using article submission, social bookmarking, blog comment posting, forum marketing, guest blogging, etc.
10. Seek out link partners and people who will become likes or followers of your social accounts.
11. Drive your Lamborghini to the beach because you are now an overnight internet millionaire. Congratulations!

There, now you never have to buy another SEO WSO again. For more experienced folks, this is nothing new. For newer folks, I just saved you some money – and if you want more detail, search this forum – there are some really outstanding posts on SEO here. Hell, I may just turn this post into a WSO!

What really prompted me to make this post was a WSO I saw recently for a new "magical niche keyword super affiliate money tool" or some hyped up pitch like that. Scroll down to find out this assh*le (or genius, depending on how you look at it) is putting all this hype around yet another Google keyword scraper and charging these poor saps $17 for it. Seriously?!?! I saw another one of these a couple weeks ago with a different skin on it. And a few weeks prior I got a guru email to download for free some POS scraper hastily slapped together in ubot as a promo to buy his junk push-button-get-rich software.

OK, keyword scrapers are very useful for initial research. If you can't afford some of the higher-end tools, $17 sounds like a great deal. It's not. If you are looking for a keyword scraper, here is a free one that I use and it works great (I can't post links yet, so please forgive the format). And no, I'm not affiliated with this guy in any way.

As far as I've found with many SEO/Aff Marketing WSOs, there are a few gems in the manure, but it's not worth losing your gold watch reaching up the cow's ass to find them. Don't waste your money on these WSOs until you visit BHW first. At least here you'll get an honest assessment of the product... but more beneficially, you will probably learn more reading the posts (like I have) than you ever would by buying many of these WSOs.

I saw this site on Flippa today with 23bids @ Well over $6600 atm. It some how has a PR of 5 with only 6 backlinks. It's essentially a celeb site that has something like wp-robot grabbing content from rss feeds, not even full content, just shitty excerpts (duplicate content anyone ?). It's running on Drupal too. He's boasting massive traffic and it does have over 150k indexed pages ( wow that content scraper has been working overtime). I mean I could make a site like this in hours. I guess I don't get it, what am I missing ?

OK, here's my deal

• Using Squid proxies with REMOTE locations
• Using Firefox 4.01
• Using Win7

When I adjust the Advanced Settings within Firefox to make it look like I am logging in from the proxy REMOTE location, Facebook thinks I am still at my HOME location. I checked the Account Security within Facebook to verify this.

My questions is.....why doesn't the Facebook Account Security section think that I am in the REMOTE location? Am I doing something wrong, or can Facebook see past these kind of proxies?

OK, so I have been posting CL ads in the services section(not adult/therapy) for over 3 years now and have had to roll with the changes they have made to put a crimp on spamming.

Anyway, in the last few weeks, things have gotten tighter here in my city.

I have 4 accounts, post 0-3 ads per account everyday, rotate ads, use different programs to alter my IP and that was working great until a few weeks ago.

Now I use a private browsing window, TOR, and reset my DSL modem everytime I use each account.

Is this enough?

I am now getting ghosted on 2 of these accounts, but these accounts may be linked by IP before I took these precautions. They are also asking for phone verification everyday on these 2 accounts and still will ghost my ads.

They may also be linked by having the same ad copy, phone number, verification phone number...etc.

This is for a legit business, I even have a g-places listing that is ranked very well.

What factors do you guys think CL uses to link accounts and what is a good posting strategy to avoid this?

Should I drop the bad accounts, or just give them a few weeks rest? Or post regular "selling whatever" ads?

If I drop the bad accounts, can I use the verification number on a new one or will they link the bad account and start restricting the new account right from the start?

It may sound newbish but I seems to have hardtime to get some decent results these days. I usually harvest like 20k links, then after removing similar it drops to 12k and when I check for URL page rank I'm left with maybe 20 with a rank higher than rank 1.

Am I missing something? getting 20k links like that would take forever.

I read a few PPC guides and found them interesting. I really want to get into Facebook Ads with this niche and I've tried using FacebookDude's guide but with little success. It's mostly due to being in the Urban Fashion niche I find it hard to create an headline that will grab the user's attention with the Facebook AD. Any advice or ideas?

Does anyone manage to make much money from twitter? I see alot of threads here about paid to tweet services, but no one seems to gain much from them.

I have had a fair bit of success in the form of traffic from one of my big accounts - it is closely tied up with a website I run and it drives a fair amount of traffic to my site - I consider that to be a small success (currently has about 5k followers).

Where I have had most success though is selling twitter management services - I figure it's hard to sell things on twitter because all anyone is after is getting more followers! So I decided to exploit that angle and offer twitter management services to my followers - I send out tweets then I handle any interest via DM, I then offer a 30 free trial using a paypal subscription link - this way they're not locked in, but they are making some commitment.

I basically offer a certain amount of followers per month then I add the accounts in to tweetadder (I like that program). If I loose them after the free trial I haven't lost much, but I'm hoping to build up a list of pay-monthly clients, for very little work.

At the moment I have only two accounts signed up (£10 per month each) (I know that's small time) but I'm hoping to scale it up, and to be honest it's the best success I've had so far on twitter.

I know it's not exactly "how to get rich" but I just thought I would share my experience!

I'm finding this to be a factor that's completely out of my control. Let's say I'm doing seo for a very competitive term like "cars". Now obviously the US is my target market and that's where I am climbing the rankings via all of my seo efforts. But there are other markets that I would love to tap into such as Canada, Australia, UK etc. but big G.ca or .co.uk have completely different rankings and more often than not my sites are berried on the 5th page somewhere. So I just keep doing seo work and keep seeing my rankings increase in US and slowly in the other countries. Now I know that local search is a big factor, but for a broad term like "cars" it shouldn't matter. My question is what are the factors that can help me rank better globally not just the states?

To use you need to insert proxyes in proxy.txt file and open a list of domains for scraping.
It will give you all backlinks these domains have. (you can give a list of competitors for example).

How long will it take alexa to start reporting on a site?
I have two site's that i did 1k backlinks over a month ago and so far alexa won't show them with any traffic or anything at all.

I found a handful of .edu sites which auto approve your comment. PR ranges from 5 - 8. I was wondering if it helps my SEO if I post my link with KW as name in an old post of the .edu site, like 2010. I realize it has to be recrawled, how would I get G to crawl the link? And what are the backlinks worth to my SEO anyways?

Just be really careful with them, there are much better payment processors. I had about $1500 in pending payments refunded and my account closed. I was selling various services.

It doesn't seem worth it unless your selling physical items. And the fact there are much better alternatives out there.
