I've Noticed something lately on many blogs i own that many people are sending refers from sites that my links are not on.

Most of the domains that send the refer are related to link building or internet marketing which doesn't line up with the niche.

Is this just random or are people trying this technique to get webmaster traffic?

Same as mass commenting webmasters about products related to internet marketing etc but think they mass ping with there domain as a referrer hoping to get webmaster traffic

or is it just my imagination?

As mentioned on my other thread, I started using AMR not long ago.

So by default, my AMR came with around 9000 directories.

I ran 'sign up' once and it came down to 3000 successful sign-up.

I submit my articles to those 3000, and it turns out i only have around 1000 submitted.

Out of those 1000, i dont even know how many are LIVE.
I dont even get those live links back on my AMR?

So what am i doing wrong here? No live links and extremely poor success rate. :confused:

I went to power options and selected to turn off monitor after one minute of inactivity. But the monitor will not turn off if SB is in fast mode or slow mode. I guess because that's considered "activity"

Have been working on my niche for around 2 years now.
With an idea I came up with I have finally saw a big income increase.

Maybe this will help others.

But what I did was this:

Picked a hobby of mine that I like the most
Decided to set a limit of having 10 Merchants with Affiliate Programs

I created & designed my own website listing 10 banners(merchant links embbed in them).
Under each banner is a list of what each company sells
& under that is a discount code for customers to get discounts

I personally spoke with all companies & got the discount code because anyone can post a merchants link, but we offer a discount with it.

I made sure that each had a high average sale, which almost all of their averages sells were $200.

Each company I recieved 5% commission
Now thats an average for me of $10/sale
(Each company sells products for this certain niche)

I aimed for the goal of 1 sale per day for each affiliate.
30 days in a month x $10 = $300
$300 x 10 companies = $3000/month

Now my main goal is working on SEO for it to increase profits

Its an easy & cheap way to get into affiliate marketing. I put alot of time into it though, by posting in my niche forums with the weblink in my signature, gaining thousands of posts therefore putting out thousands of backlinks, & social networking.

Im really excited to see all of my hardwork & time finally start to pay off, & I really hope this helps my fellow Black Hatters. (use this idea for your niche)

I recently bought a license for ZennoPoster which I've read about first on BHW.

Just wanted to share this software is life changing for me as it got endless features and includes proxy tools, threads handling and very good support.

Using this software you can create any bot you'd like. Couple of uses which you'll probably find useful:

Webmailing through any mail service.
Email or any data scraping.
Contact forms automatic submission.
Forum members' ID scraping and messaging.
Bounce handling.
WHOIS scraping.
Index submission.
Mass creation of email accounts.

The cons the software has are the following:

It is not the simplest to master.
There are no built in templates which you can use to learn or copy.
The threads are consuming a lot of CPU and RAM.
On XP You can't hide the instances so it will consume less resources.

I'm sure in the near future there will be some updates for some of these problems.

An observation that may be of interest to some people.

I have been posting a brick and mortar business on Craigslist for a couple of years. Until recently I did not know of the existence of this feature so I am assuming it is new or CL is testing it out.

I am doing real estate listings in two states in two cities on CL.

The usual way to repost an old post on CL is to delete the post either by expiration or deleting, repost it and enter a captcha. And many times I have to do phone verification during a posting session.

This feature appears to be a relatively new CL feature. I just discovered this in the last week or so.

If you have a listing that has not been flagged, deleted ... another words is still active and GREEN and is less than 30 days old (I am not sure what the cut off date is, it may be 25 days) the manage listing screen for the posting of interest has an additional button.

This button is "Renew this Posting".

What this will do is repost the listing to the top of the category without me having to do a "captcha" providing I do not edit it. It may not have problems with duplicate content, I am not sure, but I have not gotten any rejection screens though it may reject without notification. I have also not gotten a phone verification requirement doing this yet. When I try to repost a deleted listing, then I get a phone verification requirement.

What it does not do is adjust the date in the manage listing table in a timely manner.

When using an autoresponder from home with shared hosting how important is having clean home IPs? I realize the IP is in the header along with the pc name. Yet at times I've went a week without changing my home IP and still inboxed just fine.

Reason I'm asking is I don't have enough upload speed to keep up thanks to moving to a new area so it's time to move to a vps and I'm wondering how many IPs/proxies I may need per month. As at a certain point it would become cheaper to just get a business grade line installed with adequate upload speed.
