I mean using smtp's with a desktop mailer... but I don't use proxies. My conversion to sales leads from email has stopped completely.

Is the purpose of using proxies to:

a. hide my identity
or
b. to fool the services I am mailing to (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc) into thinking that all of these messages are coming from multiple sources as opposed one (my home computer)

Also, what role does IP rotation have in all of this?

I am looking at buying some new gear for my IM'ing. So I wanted to know what others setups are and how you use them. (I'm not looking for your secrets, I just wanted to know what gets you into your IM mode.)

Basically, I was thinking about setting up an IM cave in my home (basement cold storage room) where it's all motivation and quiet where I can just get stuff done without any distractions. My daily routine:

I always start the day by checking programs and setting them up to run for the day. I then start writing content. I write all my own content so this is the majority of my day either writing or spinning. I can usually write 5-7 really good articles and spin them well enough to pass Copyscape, yet be readable by a human. Once content is done for the day (enough to post on at least 4 web properties and enough to be spun for my tools) I then move onto keyword mining. I like to check keywords everyday and check out my competition. I have a major competitor I have to deal with who is very good at SEO. He is always changing his name online so I have to be on my toes or he can sneak up on me and take a #1 spot!

Throughout the day I am always checking on my leads and making sure the Realtors I refer them to are following up correctly. I make sure all my personal leads are emailed and I am up to date on my phone calls.

This is what I do but I can always improve and there are always ways to make life easier. I need to get into social media more, I haven't really figured out what to do on that aspect. Any tips for that would be much appreciate. If you read all this, thanks and I hope it helps you in someway!

One of my networks is reporting 25 impressions and 100 clicks. Do those kinda stats raise flags? With the impressions being so much lower?

I've seen a couple people do this, so I know it's possible, but being a novice as far as coding is concerned, I have yet to figure it out.

I'll use an old example.

Back a couple years ago, I promoted Maverick Money Maker, by Mack Michaels. The vendor ID for this was 'maverick66'. However, somehow, I also made sales to 'maverickco' in the same email blast. It would appear that even though I promoted one offer, I was getting sales from two vendor accounts.

I'm assuming it would have to be done in .htaccess, I suppose. How would I, if I so chose, do this? Suppose my vendor ID is 'vendor1', but I wanted to also allow affiliates to make sales for 'vendor2' via promoting the 'vendor1' hoplink. What would I need to do?

May sound like a stupid question. I am posting a link to my website on my ads. Will that cause ghosting. Also I post a link to a map of my location, will that cause ghosting.

Just wanting people's opinions about the likelyhood of ranking a site that uses articles found on article directories for content.

I'm not using articles that rank for anything, so I won't be competing with the article itself.

So lets say I want to create a site about coffee makers. I go to EzineArticles and find an article that is focused on the keyword "delonghi coffeemaker".

I take that article for my site, but the keyword I focus on is "buy cheap delonghi coffeemaker". The original article doesn't show up in serps for the new keyword, and none of the first page listings are targeting this specific keyword.

I'd imagine if the credit card companies and banking companies start to block merchant name out, you can just the name. The name that will show up on the consumer banking statement?

This is an idea I have been playing with let me know what you think.

This is for people that are doing offline SEO for local clients.

I can imagine that one of the biggest problems with ranking local websites for your customers is that the time frame in which the client expects you to rank them in the SERPS is just unrealistic. We all know that its not an overnight job and can take a long time to rank anything but for someone who is not involved in SEO does not know this, all they see is that its taking a long time and they are spending alot of money.

So for the method what if instead of just signing clients and ranking their websites as we normally would, instead we buy say 50 domains all aged one year or more (to help prevent sandbox) spend a few months building links to these domains creating sufficient link juice flowing to the domain.

Now to do this you could use your own tools such as Scrapebox, Xrumer, Senuke etc, or what I had in mind was to sign up for services such as dripable, linkpushing and linklicious(just an example use whatever you like), let these automated services run on all of your domains for a few months. This will obviously cost some upfront money but nothing you wont make back very quickly.

Once a few months have gone by and you have created a good amount of backlinks to each domain you can then start to approach local businesses telling them that you will rank there website on page 1 of google within 1-2 weeks. You have to make sure whatever keywords you are targeting that the keywords aren't of high difficulty.

Now when you sign up your client and im sure you will with claims to rank a website for them in under 1-2 weeks you will then go and do a 301 redirect from one of your domains to the clients website. This will then pass about 70-80% of the link juice that was originally flowing to your domain but is now going to theirs. This also works great as an on / off switch if your client decides not to pay you. You could then go sign up a new customer and have him or her ranking quickly.

I think at a rate of having 30-50 domains would create a very high amount of generally auto-pilot income after all of the initial work you have to do at the start. But atleast you dont have to deal with the client nagging you asking why they havent moved up in the SERPS yet :D

I was making accounts today and I noticed all of them were getting banned within a few hours then I realized all of my old accounts had been banned.

1. You create an account with the same phone number more than once, your fucked.

2. You create youtube accounts on IP's that don't have unique B classes, your fucked as well.

They're implementing the same shit they did with comment voting to account creating lol, this is going to be fun. I just had videos generating $xxx a day taken down about an hour ago. (I have backups so its fine)

All thee of my accounts has gotten hacked. Someone logged into my BHW account and changed the password and email (I have a clue as to who it is) so I cannot recover it. Worst/Best part is I found my old email and was able to recover this account that im currently making this post with but I cannot even PM an admin to let them know my original account has gotten hacked because I do not have 15 post yet. So for all I know someone can be posting on behalf of me and tricking others unsuspecting users and possibly gain there information.

Im assuming this same someone also gained access to my AlertPay account and since it is still tied to my email I received updates showing that someone tried to withdraw $450 out of my bank account to my aletpay.

Then the prick got into my moneybrokers account and changed the email to: (cant post emails yet) and my password and then tried to withdraw $1200.

I used FAKE info on all of them so they get NOTHING. But the nerve of some people.... anyway hopefully a mod or someone can help recover my old account or at least ban that account because there no telling what can be done with it...

I just had an awesome idea for a facebook ppc campaign but I'm missing a couple pieces of the puzzle. First of all, I want to do a poll. So, is it better to do a poll on Facebook itself or on the landing page. (If FB is better, how do you create a poll that directs to landing page?)

If using poll on the landing page is better, are there any wordpress plugins that will allow me to use a poll and redirect the answer to my cpa offer. I have seen a lot of threads with people saying how they are no longer able to spam following the latest update, so I figured I'd help out. Even before this update I created a method which prevented comments from ever being triggered or blacklisted.

Here's what you have to do:

1) Get a comment and put it in note pad
2) If you're having to do this manually, you want to take the same comment and copy and paste it a ton of times.
3) You need to change all spaces to have the same symbol instead of the spaces.
Example: Here_is_my_example_comment_to_show_you_what_I_mean
4) You need to make sure that no comment has all the same symbol taking the place of all the spaces. (the next step will give an example) This is because sometimes the trigger will then notice the trend and block every comment that has the symbol as the original space.
5) The comment needs to go from
This: Here_is_my_example_comment_to_show_you_what_I_mean
To This: Here-is_my_example_comment_to_show_you_what_I_mean
To This: Here_is-my_example_comment_to_show_you_what_I_mean
To This: Here_is_my-example_comment_to_show_you_what_I_mean
And so on...

The point here is, that the YouTube system recognizes each of these as a different word because the entire comment is connected with symbols, instead of seeing is as a sentence. You can use any symbol to space the comment and any other symbol to change each comment. The possibilities are endless because there are so many symbols you can use and so many variations to change each comment.

NOTE:
Don't end or begin your comment with a symbol and occasionally they will pick up on the last or first word and will blacklist that word from being at the end or beginning of the comment, so it's usually better to use broad words that are used often on YouTube.

Hopefully someone here can create a script or program that can make millions of varations of a comment with different symbols to make it much easier on you guys.

So I intern at this small business company over the summer that sells a specific type of tupperware supplies. A lot of business and sales come from "Roadshows" at different store locations by salesmen who present the tupperware to people as their just walking by.

Recently however, the company is thinking about getting in the internet business a little more. Their offer for an affiliate program would most likely be a 4 or 5 dollar commission for every "set" sold (the tupperware is sold in sets). Each set costs roughly around 20-25 dollars. What I'm wondering is if that's a good standard offer for publishers? Should the commission price be higher or lower or what?
