I just want to know how to determine which database is used for my website ? I have several wordpress sites and about 10 of the databases are labeled _wrdp1, _wrdp2, _wrdp3 etc. etc. , I have no idea which ones are used for which sites. I'm a bit confused. Can anyone offer any help ?

Anyone interested in possibly branding a paintball team? Making a six man team with a few buddies. We're all going in to either the Marine Corps or Air Force, I personally am signing my contract in about 8 days. I consider this not only practice for something real but also a chance for someone to get some advertising out there. My site receives 2 million visits a month, with all of my traffic coming from a free Internet Parental Control program I have written. I have tried several things to monetize this site but most ad sites don't approve of my traffic. I've tried about 50 PPC and Affiliates. I was doing well before one of the major PPC's disabled my account for my traffic being against TOS.

I just bought a Fiverr Gig that was supposed to be a '3000 link pyramid' but ended up being a 2 level xrumer blast. I checked out a few of the links on both layers and they look pretty spammy. Is this going to negatively affect my site. Its the first and only seo I have done for this site. Any suggestions how I can reverse any negative effects? Over the last few years I have been coding a variety of web apps and have combined some of this code into a new web app which I would like to offer to BHW members to beta test.

WHAT's The BIG IDEA ?

Aim of the app is to quickly and easily turn twitter followers/ users into niche specific email list subscribers. You can then monetise these through a niche specific autoresponder sequence (CPA, clickbaank, your own products, or however else you choose)

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO ?

1) You pick a niche that you want to build a targeted email list for.
2) You create a free acount on mailchimp to host your list. (Thesemailchimp accounts allow you to have 2000 subscribers and to send 12000 emails per month)

WHAT DOES THE APP DO ?

1) It creates a landing page that features the front covers of 12 ebooks that are specific to the niche you have chosen (It does this using the scribd API - which gives my app access to over 1.5 billion documents on almost any niche you can imagine)

2) This page features a headline and a twitter connect button so in order to view the documents the visitor must login to my app with twitter.

3) when they do this the app is designed to go viral. So it automatically sends a tweet out that you prewrite using the visitors account. This tweet obviously includes a link. This means that your marketing is now targeting your followers followers and can go viral.

4) The visitor does not "authorise" this tweet but it is sent automatically from their account as they accepted the app. I have set it to only send 1 tweet out in this way as otherwise the app iwill get banned by twiiter.

5) The visitor is next sent to an email opt in page where they must add their email address to complete registration.

6) the email address details along with the niche are sent to your mailchimp list.

7) in addition to their email address the app also looks up the geographic location based upon their IP address and ads to your mail chimp list their country, region and city data which you can then use in future emal marketing to send country specific offers

8) Finanly the user is directed to a page on our site where they can view the documents that they were interested in.

9) You now have that users email address and can start making money by mailing offers and so on.

SOME FURTHER THOUGHTS..

You can literally pick any niche and build a targeted list around it without having to do any site building or content creation.

WHATS THE CATCH...

You need to drive your own traffic to the landing page. Its possible that we will offer twiiter traffic as an additional service in the future but as of now you will need to drive your own traffic.

SO TO PARTICIPATE...

1) Set up your mailchimp account and provide me with your mailchimp list ID and API key
2) PM me your chosen niche and I will create a custom landing sequence for you.
3) Write a tweet that the app will automatically send out when users accept it - this needs to link back to the first page in this sequence
4) Check the sequence we have created for you and make sure that it is working correctly and thta you are happy with it.
4) Send twitter traffic to the landing page.


If you want to see a demonstration of this then PM me and i will send you a link to an example sequence I built that targets the golf niche.

Please remember this is a beta test and there may be some issues with the code/ design. I would really appreciate feedback and any suggestions on improving the service.

I have this site that i had made a while back half for an attempt at profit, half because it was a hobby of mine.

its a music niche website that is actually quite unique( the only one i've seen like it atleast) and it heavily involved facebook.

the only problem was that I realised it was going to take to much time to get a steady stream of traffic and i gave up on it.

Saw this section of the forum and figured i would ask any of you if you have some ideas about how i can flip it with not a lot of solid statistics to back it.

I guess you could say i would be trying to sell the concept of the site based on its potential.

I'm talking about the simple email submit offer that pays $1.30 on average. You know, the kind that say 'Enter your email address to receive a free iPad 2'. What's stopping me from cheating the CPA networks if I buy traffic to keep the conversion rates below 10% and use hundreds of email submit affiliate offers to keep the amount a single advertiser would pay me as low as possible?

$975/day split between 300+ affiliate offers = $3.25/day from each offer

All the traffic will be cloaked and run through redirect pages on my VPS

Quick question about CLAD Pro. I am using the trial version and I imported about 20 emails and tried to get it to post ads with them. It successfully posts with them but it never actually goes and checks the emails for the validation links to finalize the posts. I tried putting it on sequential mode as well and that didnt help at all. Any ideas?

I remember when it was pretty easy to rank my sites using mostly forum profiles. I would buy a PR2 or PR3 domain, build a couple high PR links to it (PR4 - PR5), and blast the heck out of it with forum profile links using submitter.

I would do 2 links per profile, and build about 12,000 or so per month. I would use backlink energizer to get many of them indexed.

Used to work very well a few months back, but as of 2 or so months ago, it seems to literally ruin your sites forever (perma-sandbox).

I had a lot of sites, most of which were ranking well, some in second & first place. But, every single one of them went into the sandbox, one after the other, like clock work. Even sites that had been firmly stuck in 2nd place for MONTHS, without ever bouncing, or going into the sandbox, etc.

It seems that the sites that I build the most forum profiles too, were the first ones to go. But even the sites that I had not even built ANY links to for months, eventually went into the sandbox too.

Now and then, one of them may come out of the sandbox for a day or two, make some money, and then go right back into the sandbox, head first. This has been going on for months it seems...

I have tried just about everything that you can think of to get them out, and nothing has worked.


Here are the things that I have tried, in order to get the sites out of the sandbox:

1. Changing/adding content to the homepage (NOTE: I was only ranking the homepage on most sites... and didn't bother with subpages).
2. Adding content, in general (IE: building subpages with unique content)
3. Building high PR links both to the homepage and the subpage.
4. Building "high quality" links
5. Link pyramids
6. Adding an SSL to the 5 of the sites (I was hoping this may raise the "trust" rank of the site)
7. Changing the IP of the site
8. Creating EDU and .gov links to the sites

I'm sure I also forgot a couple of other things too...

Also, there was nothing that would link the sites together. No adsense, no google analytics or webmaster tools, they were on different c-class IP's (some on dedicated IP's), and they did not link to one another, etc.

Heck, I even used all different contact/admin (etc.) names for the domains. I pretty much left no stone un-turned.

I am guessing the ONLY way these sites are ever gonna be saved, is if I find a way to get rid of all of the spammy profile links pointing to them? I don't suppose someone has a program like Xrumor that can REMOVE mass links to a site? LOL!

I am pretty convinced at this point that they are never coming back, period. This is why I have already remade 1/4 of them, and intend to remake them ALL, then be far more careful with my link building. Basically I will be making link pyramids, linkpushes (linkpushing.ent), and not hitting them with mass links anymore, at least not mass CRAPPY links. I will also focus more on high PR homepage links, which seems to help more than anything else.

Interestingly enough, the new sites that I have made are already ranking pretty good, and it has only been 2 months max for them, and some are closer to one month old.

Most are on page 2 towards the top, and some page one, like position 2-5ish. Making money, but nothing compared to what the old sites were before they got the axe :)

So what I am saying, is that it appears you do NOT need a lot of links (especially not a lot of CRAPPY links) to get ranked well.

I just can't believe how much time and effort I spent RUINING a big batch of sites that had great potential. I guess it was a good lesson learned though: mass spamming links does more harm than good nowadays. That doesn't mean you can't blast your web 2.0 sites, link pyramids/pushes etc. though :)

Note: none of my old sites are de-indexed, just perma-sandboxed :(

Ok so the story begins. I began using Google Adwords 4 years ago on a fully paid account. I put £6000 into the account over a 3 month period before getting randomly banned for no given reason. The ads were linked to my business. Anyway my business crashed without Adwords and yeah as you can imagine i was effed lol.

Anyway since then i have opened new adwords accounts once every 2 months with false direct debit information, name address etc and run up debts per account of over £20,000.

Their own fault? i think so.

My latest account opened around 5 days ago and was running really well until today when the balance hit £350 for a days advertising i was hit with a "your ads are not running, please contact us for suport" message. I sent an email as always and the account isnt under review as normally an automatic reply is sent if it is. I am trying to work out whether or not the account has been set a "hidden" daily spend limit and when it hits it i get given that message. It happened yesterday too and after midnight all went up and runnin again.

It seems a little too soon for the ads to go offline as my other accounts last over 2 months.

Also i have found that i have to use a different physical PC everytime i want to create a new account. No idea how google links them but when i use the same PC the accounts get banned automatically within minutes. I found that changing the IP isnt enough.

Anyone got experience with this method of advertising and wanna give me some help on the current account?

How to fake the PageRank of a website


The PageRank of a web page can be faked with a combination of a 301 redirect and cloaking. It works like this:

• When a search engine spiders visits a web page URL, the server redirects the spider to a web page with high PageRank like Adobe, Yahoo etc.
• Google assigns the high PageRank to the page with the redirection because it thinks that the pages are identical.
• When a human web surfer visits the web page URL, the server does not redirect the surfer. That means that the web surfer sees the web page of the faker and the Google toolbar displays the PageRank of the redirected URL.

To the viewer, it looks as if the web page has a very high PageRank although it hasn’t. It just influences the PageRank display in Google’s toolbar.

How to check fake Page Rank?

If you have scrapebox then you can do this with fake pr checker addons of SB.But if you do not have then you can do this using google search.To check a PR is fake or real of a domain name go to google search.Then type

I have two accounts that aren't friends. The first account will post on a wall or make a comment . The second account will check if it posted and most of the time it doesn't show up meaning that no traffic for any links posted by the first account. Its like the posts are only visible by the person making them even though the settings are set to be seen by everyone.
