Today when I used Rank Tracker I was surprised to see my site ranked 89th out of 350 million pages. I searched and found it actually on the 9th page of Google. My site is only four months old so I was really pumped up. an hour later I searched again but this time it was on the 32nd page. Needless to say, I was a bit let down. Now I can't find at all in the top 60 or so pages. Has anyone had a similar experience and if so, what was the final outcome. I wonder if somehow i'll be restored at least to the top ten pages.

When I am going through the success list im not finding the trackbacks. Where are trackbacks located on a persons blog? there not in the comment section are they?

I have 100 Sites of Unique Articles on it, Onpage SEO is perfect (A+). The Linkbuilding consists mainly of manual Web 2.0 Properities and Web 2.0 Pyramids, Linkpushes, manual Blog Comments, manual Forum posts, manual quality Articles in good Directorys and some Social Bookmarks.

Clicks and visits stayed the same and im sure its smart pricing cause thats the only explanation to this low cost clicks.

There seems to be some disagreement as to whether it is possible to CJ profitably long-term. Let's assume for a moment that it is. Now, at first sight it would seem pretty clear that CJ is simple theft/fraud. My question is, if you actually send someone visiting your site to the website of the advertiser, would it still be unethical? In other words, if you would ask the advertiser the following: "Would you like me to send you someone who is interested in xyz (as proven by the fact that he is reading your webpage on xyz) to your site, even though he didn't actually click on your ad?" I would imagine that advertisers would indeed agree to pay for that lead.

Or is this just big-time rationalization :) ?

I currently publish a free newsletter on one of my sites. But it costs £200 per month and is written by a journalist. The original idea was just to provide excellent content to draw people to the site.

However, I want to start making money from it, I was planning to sell a mid-month update (it's in finance sector btw), but have now decided to just sell the newsletter itself (ie sell online access on a monthly basis).

Only curious to know how others are doing compared to me. I've followed crashed's 30 day challenge, well 16 day challenge really and feel pretty confident in going forward with this from searching around on here.

My blog has been up for approx 3-4 days and I've gotten about 140 hits total. The first day or two I haven't done much to it, but I've gotten about 70 hits yesterday, 42 hits today so far, and 28 hits on I'll say the second day once I actually started adding content and advertising on twitter.

The only thing I'm doing on a daily basis now is unfollowing and following on twitter with schedule posts on SocialOomph (as suggested by Crashed Challenge). I've been reading a lot but kind of undecided where to go from here. I know there's plentyyyyy of things I can do... I have a good 5-6 posts on my blog which are VERY helpful for many people. It's not just trash. I think I could get a lot more hits if I knew a much better way to broadcast the link and a brief description.

But as far as my traffic, any comments?

Also, it appears that most of my traffic comes from the minute I tweet. If I stop tweeting all day, I probably won't get anything. The minute I send out a tweet advertising a link on my page, I immediately get 5-10 UVs. So far 49 followers.
