Anyway to transfer files from VPS to home computer?

SO for the past 5 years, i have been using the internet, getting download speeds of about 10-30kb/s (somedays 50kb/s) and it took aaages to download an album!

Today i bought a VPS and for the fun of it, downloaded an album and it hit speeds of 3.0MB/s :O i was shocked .. it downloaded in less than a minute!!

Now, what i want to know is: can i transfer that album to my home computer? If so, what is the quickest way (not uploading and downloading as that would be pointless)

Hey everyone, I always get custom made templates and just wondering if installing the same template on one of my other sites which is in a different niche will somehow count as duplicate site or something? Because that site has dropped in ranking and stays at that position no metter how many links I build and it all happened right after my site got hacked and after an installation of new template.. any suggestions and advice? Well, it really was all fine for a while. A fresh account, method of payment setup, ads created and working for a couple of weeks. Then, the person whose name was on the account, received a CALL from Microsoft, asking to call back. She didn't know too much about it, and just called back worried. She was greeted with BS offering some free mumbo-jumbo (like, free $100 worth of their help with keyword targeting or something - like anyone would ever WANT their help with that!). She heard the word "free" and thought "sure, ok", well, that was a grave mistake. Apparently, it made someone there actually look at our site, and - lo and behold - it was "disapproved" within hours. Nothing has helped ever since.

I don't know if it was just a coincidence, with them cracking down on all advertizers, but it sure feels like this stupid call had at least something to do with it. We spoke with their support, argued, created another account, only to be disapproved again, and put through countless rounds of BS before we are deemed "compliant". It appears nothing would please them at this point, not even the fact that they had been paid 1000's in ads over the last couple of years in another account that they also "disapproved" along (apparently cause it was associated with the same physical address), which is lost revenue for them! Really have no idea how to rectify it now.

tl;dr: I can't follow more than 2700 people on Twitter. I currently have 2480 followers. What am I doing wrong? How do I fix this?

The details:

I have been using TweetAttacks to build up a Twitter following over the past 1-2 months. I've been cautious about following people to avoid a ban, and had been following/unfollowing 200-250 people a day up until I hit this limit. I had heard about the official 2000 following limit, but managed to snag 2000 followers to get past it without any problems.

Once I got past that magic number of 2000 followers, I started having trouble. I could only add a hundred people or less (usually less) before getting the "You've reached the maximum limit" message. Today, I was only able to add 26 followers. 26! For reference, my exact numbers are 2732 following, 2484 followers (yes, I know I should unfollow some people, but I use the TweetAttacks default two-day wait period before unfollowing them).

What am I doing wrong? I see average people, i.e. non-celebrities and non-businesses, who follow tens of thousands of people and have tens of thousands of followers. How do they accomplish this without hitting limits? How can I get past this damn limit? How can I build up a Twitter following quickly? I'm not looking for bot suggestions or "how to get followers guides"; it's just that at this current rate, it's going to take several weeks to add another thousand people and I'd like to avoid this.

Hi guys,

I've been doing web dev for years, but never really tried SEO in any form before, aside from the most basic white hat. In short, I am a programmer, not a marketer :( After being laid off, a friend and I decided it was time to try and earn some independent income, so we launched a site geared toward some good potential keywords (we did research that part pretty well, and they are included in the domain name), signed up for Adsense and paid someone in India to "promote" us by submitting to various directories, and providing backlinks. I suppose that was the part where it went wrong. Although we are seeing some income in Adsense, and webmaster tools claims we have literally hundreds of thousands backlinks (!), the site just doesn't come up if "link:...." is typed in google. Is this a bad sign? What can we do to rectify this? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I really am eager to learn this art. Thanks in advance!

I've searched and read other threads and they all say to contact admins. I have contacted them multiple times over the last couple weeks and got no response.

I'm wanting to hire an affiliate manager, I'm just wondering if anyone here has an affiliate manager and can let me know if it's been beneficial for them in increasing affiliates and what activities they do that I should look for with my affiliate manager?

I ask because I have such a headache in outsourcing people and I want to avoid the pain as much as possible.

I'm mainly wanting an affiliate manager to make communications with websites to get them to become an affiliate - not in a spammy mass-mail and/or template approach, and also someone who will put together/organise new promotional tools for affiliates and to write e-mails to send to subscribers of my affiliate list.

Hi,

Recently my server has been acting strange in that when I add an add-on domain to my account, after visting the url it repeats itself as a directory. For example, the domain:
http://example.com/
redirects to:
http://www.example.com/example.com/
every time. In addition, when I type without the www. it automatically adds the www. along with the repeated domain!

I don't know what to do, but I assume it must be an issue with my server's set up?

So I am trying really hard to follow threads but i get hit with vocabs that i cant understand. most I managed to figure out on my own like WSO. i recently found out that it means warriour special offer or Website optimizer im still not sure.

what is a proxie? from my own knowledge, a proxie acts as a firewall. but i dont know how this relates to IM. i have been advised to purchase scrapebox and pay for private proxies. i have no clue what that means.

Scrapebox No Valid License Found! Arghh

Purchased Scrapebox yesterday, sent in my Transaction ID, Paypal Accnt and name. I recieved a License key via the mail, but when I start up Scrapebox I get NO VALID LICENSE FOUND in the bottom right hand. It has been around 20 hours since i purchased it, I sent e-mails to Scrapebox support but no answers.

I am a little discouraged at this point. Any help or suggestions?
