I have a site that's about a month old. After adding a few social bookmark links and pinging it right after I made it and each time I updated it, it ended up at the top of page 2 for the keyword I'm targeting. It's an exact match domain. A few days ago I created 4 web 2.0 links. It was sort of a link chain, and it looks like this: Weebly--->Squidoo--->Wordpress--->Blogger. In addition to those links, each web 2.0 page had a link to my site. I bookmarked three of the web 2.0 pages on Digg, pinged them all, and added them to Google with the add url feature. At first my site jumped from the top of page two to the bottom of page one, but now it's at the middle of page twelve. I guess that Google doesn't like my little link chain. Maybe it's too obvious what I was doing. Anyway, what should I do next? Delete the blogs with the links, add more links, or just give up and move on to a new project?

This isn't a A-Z layout for making cash, but instead a quick tip that is real and works. This also isnt for -everyone-, simply because not everyone has a passion or hobby

It's very simple. Look at your hobbies, figure out what you have a personal passion for, and think of ways to make money doing it.

You don't need to be a genius webdesigner or have a super rare awesome hookup on products to make money.

I say this because I've been in the game for years now. I've had my ups and my downs, and put in a TON of hard work figuring out what works and what doesnt.

but recently I came into enough spare cash to venture into a few new fields without worry if they go belly up. one of which was the erik creed jv, which doesnt seem to be a good thing at all.

Secondly, i decided to try another thing. this time it was just a random stumble, i happened to be surfing the web looking into my hobby (I'm sort of a collector, i spend countless hours on fan forums, ebay, craigslist, etc etc) and realized I knew the exact value of every item due to my passion. from there, it was just a simple few hours of surfing like i always do with the thought of looking for great deals while doing it. I always see these deals, but never jump on them because i personally just dont have the disposable income to buy such an amount of stuff for myself, and dont have room to store anything.

But now that I'm looking at it as an investment, as product to sell, its an entire different story. I started with 200 dollars to use. I came out with 400. I've reused that 400 and should be walking out with 1200 by the end of the month. The process just repeats itself.

I spend alot of time doing this "work", but the thing is, this is my passion and my hobby. I've made what i love doing something to bring in income, so working "overtime" doesnt feel like working at all.

it's retardedly easy to make money if you simply know the niche your going into. what better way to know your niche than to target your own personal passion.

be creative. my passion has been with me since i was a young child. not until a month ago did I realize its profit potential. You'd be shocked if you just sit down and think about it for a bit.

Examples:
-sports fans: look into sports memorabilia. figure out where you can locate deals on sports merchandise and simply stock up every chance you get on a deal.

-Sports enthusiast: Hunt down equipment for cheap prices, if you're active in a sport, you probably know how much an item cost. (ie who here can tell me exactly how much a certain brand hockey stick costs? i dont know, but you do. when YOU see one at a good deal, you know its a good deal)

-like playing with cars? go to auto salvages and haggle that 50 dollar piece down to 10 bucks, then resell it online.

you consider it more work when thinking about it because you have to actively go out to find these things. but you'll have so much fun doing it if its your hobby, it wont feel like work at all. I'm pulling 18 hour shifts technically, and I couldnt be having more fun, all the while at least doubling every penny I put in (atm im at about 4x)

dont be narrow minded. if you have a hobby that has EVER required you spend money, then there's money to be made. just think about what is wanted and find it at a deal!

Started a month ago, and have 3 sites up. All 3 sites were indexed the same day they were put up. Put up a 4th site and it hasn't been indexed for 3 days now. I even uploaded a sitemap to google webmaster tools.

Paypal is not the best payment system if you want to maximize your revenue. There are many countries that have no paypal service. And just to point out, when you use papal as a payment processor without requiring people to register for an account paypal STILL DOES ACCEPT THESE COUNTRIES.

For some reason out of my 20 websites that I currently make money off of via organic search traffic ALL my .co websites dropped out and were penalized for some reason during the last Panda update.

The .co's are all on different hosts with different IP addresses. They are 100% different from each other in terms of content as well.

Only the .co sites fell off. My .com and .org sites are doing fine. The .co sites were not deindexed but just fell off into the 500-1000 range when they all used to rank on the 1st page google for the last year for their respective keywords.


Anyone still successful with .co sites?
