As you know I sell micro niche sites as a part-time job aside from my other IM projects.
So today I was talking with a customer who bought a site months ago and was completely new at SEO.
One thing I notice all newbies doing is using Google Adwords to analyze SEO competition, when it's really the CPC competition. The bar beside the keyword on Google Keyword tool is for CPC (Adwords) not SEO.
So technically, someone in Adsense would want a high CPC competition.

Such a simple thing that so many people don't know.

My adwords account was suspended because of landing page violation, my idiot self did not read and ended up putting an affiliate landing page as my destination URL. Stupid Stupid mistake I now know, I have contacted adwords on multiple occasions, and they will not unsuspend my account,

I was successful in opening a new account with out an issue, and it has been running fine for a few weeks, but what I am concerned about is the adsense, because my adsense was the same email as the suspended adwords account.

Should I be openeing a new adsense as well? or will I be okay with the old adsense and new adwords account.

Today I received this email from "Richard Branson". The funniest part is that I sent some emails to him and even a letter, so when I checked my email, and I saw his email, I thought he was the real one, haha!

I have a linux vps with two IP addresses. I've tried setting up firefox to use the ip as a proxy but it doesn't work. Is there a way for me to stick my VPS IP address into firefox so I'm surfing with that IP.

One of my sites has been suffering from what HAS to be a -30 penalty. Every page of the site used to be all on page 1 or 2 for their keywords. One day it all vanished about a month or so ago... then it all settled in on page 4 for everything and no amount of backlinking seems to make anything move beyond page 4. Anybody got any ideas on how to break out of this type of penalty?

Anyone have suggestions for getting the most out of AMR? I've been approved to about 2500 directories, but when I blast 100 at a time on the schedule with my article, only about 20% are successful.

I've been working on making my categories more generic and reducing my summary length (I was exceeding the char limit for some of the directories). My articles are typically 400-600 words long.

I go to uni and am wanting to earn a little bit of $$$$ and plan on initially using flyers to market a product that is in demand from students. There are approximately 20,000 students and I know the areas that get high foot traffic that also have areas to post flyers. I have been searching on G for a couple days but havn't found a reliable source that shows the most popular products for students. I am assuming the products will have to be affordable since most students are already strapped for cash (I know because I am one), and even marketable amongst a student population (if they decide they want to market the product themselves to make money). I can't promote any products relating to pharmaceuticals, student loans (we have interest free student loans where I'm from :)), adult themed products, hyips/investment schemes, or anything else that would get me referred to the proctor and in trouble. I am from NZ so the product must also be marketable in NZ too. It would be an advantage if the product came with pre-made flyers (I don't really have time to make any myself) but I can use Illustrator/Photoshop to make one for print if need be. Payouts via PayPal is my preferred option, but have heard a lot of bad things on here about them (I have been dealing with them for about 5 years with no problems) so would consider other methods of payment.

Is there an offshore VPN that offers IP's coming from NL or Russia? I upload/stream a lot and need to hide my IP. I usually get traffic from proxy,org , but the owner saw I made changes to the script, likes them, and demands I hand the changes over so he can throw it in his new release, I said no, maybe for some advertising, but not for free. He wont talk to me until I give him the changes and explain how it works (what a lazy sh*t, cant code for himself)

Any other good places to advertise? It has a firewall setup on it so you need to see it from a whitelisted referrer. Its a very fast proxy with no ads... and no traffic. lol.

i have been reading tons and tons of info from BHW and have learned lots but still feel confused. have you ever tried to find an answer to a question and when you found it, 10 more questions came from getting that answer?
thats what i feel like right now.

i would appreciate any response to the newb questions that i may have. If there is a thread that answers all this - If you could direct me to that thread, i would greatly appreciate it.

1. posting on articlesbase. 5/5 articles and i still get rejected because of advertisement and links back to my page. how do others do it?

2. what are some good article sites that a person can use to start posting useful threads?

3. how does one check how many people have clicked on his site?

4. is it normal for a person to create a site and rent a freelancer to get them backlinks? doesnt google penalize a person for acquiring a large amount of backlinks so early after a domain has been created?

5. with regards to seo and ranking well in google, i installed all in one seo pack in wordpress, submitted small articles to many sites for some backlinks, did keyword research. is there anything that i am missing that i should look into?
