Here is another, Varolo that pitches to it's users to get paid (1 cent per ad) watching commercials online, when this really just screams affiliate marketing to me. The site is due to release on the 17th of April and is steadily increasing in numbers. There could be a lot of money to be made here or it could blow up in all of their faces by the site giving out in a few months. Who knows, however there is a whole lot of hype behind it. Allright guys, here in a nutshell:

Domain is around 1 year old, has ca. 10000 high quality backlinks, 300 indexed unique high quality articles (I paid around 40 dollars for each since they're on pretty complex stuff), is linked in Wikipedia etc.

I'd say it is definitely the most informative website on that topic and it ranked 1-3 for ALL its keywords for around 6 month. In the mid of march it suddenly lost around 90% of longtail traffic and only ranked for a few keywords. This morning I checked out my rankings and found that traffic completely disappeared - its like my site was never there.

Hey guys, I need your help.

I was running some massive programs last night in my laptop and went to sleep. When I woke up I realize Windows 7 was crashed. I restart the system and have a whole load of missing DLLs.

One of the main dll is COMCTL32.dll.
I would really appreciate it if any of you Windows 7 users can upload a copy of that to mediafire for me so I could replace my faulty one.

That DLL file is for interface (buttons and such).

I know repairing windows 7 is the only way (no system restores saved), but when I bought this bloody Dell laptop there wasn't any windows 7 CD for me. So I have to download it and it will really take a long time.

I had just graduated high school in the August, 2008. I needed to make money. I had just graduated high school and wanted to pay off college, as my dad did not offer to pay for any of it. Keep in mind, he helped my brother with his college tuition, gave him a weekly allowance, and even paid for his cell phone for. I had a minimum wage job, but it wasn't enough. I decided to get into internet marketing because I figured I could combine my basic knowledge of HTML and PHP with business, to create a profitable operation. I did what seems like thousands of hours of research in the summer of 2008. Day and night I sat on the computer learning to 'make money online.' In September of '08 I decided to give it a go and launch a few small projects in different areas of internet marketing, and see where the most money is and go from there. All this while, my family consisting of my dad and brother are doubting me. They were so negative because I quit my full-time, low paying job in order to focus on college and my online venture. I can cite that my brother laughing at me and saying, "You're an idiot, get a real job." and my dad saying, "You should just focus on school, and this internet thing is stupid."

At first they were right. I failed alot. However, the projects were small and therefore required very little capital. I seen hope in one of my projects, which was a site that promoted certain products through affiliate links, in simplest terms. For the next month I focused solely on this project. I got my big break because Christmas was right around the corner, and Google was very generous to my website. I received my first big check for about $1,500 and decided to promote other products using the same technique. I seene major, major success. By May of 2009, I had a very high, and stable income. I did not brag, but I did let it be known that I was making a sizable income online. This is when they both were now interested in how to 'make money online.' They knew nothing about HTML, PHP or how AdWords and Adsense worked, or how to set up a domain and hosting.

By April 2009, The deal was is that I would give them a start and teach, keyword teach, them how to code a site, dealing with domains, hosting and how to research what products to focus on and how to set up advertisements to get traffic to the website. In summary, I alone set the domain, hosting and website up, along with myself doing the product research and finding a suitable advertisement campaign. I was a little weary, but what was I expecting? I shouldn't have expected them to know how to do any of that stuff. I realized I was a bit naive but I told myself that it didn't matter because as per the agreement I would get a 33% share of the revenue anyway. The first check for them came in the mail. A week after they cashed it I figured I would get my share sometime soon, but it never happened. I figured it was only going to be about $75 for me anyway, so they would just tack it on to the next payments which were much bigger. Boy was I wrong. The monthly payments started to become thousands of dollars for them and I never recieved a penny. I was still making alot more money then them, so I brushed it off for a few months until I ran into a rough spot and could have used some cash. So, one day I casually brought up the question, "So, when am I going to get my cut?" They looked like deer in front of head lights at night. But so did I after their response. They responded with, "What money? You set it up for us to make money. You already have your own way of making money, this way is ours."

I was in shock. Never have I ever felt so betrayed. I counter argued with what the original agreement was, and also how they had not done a single minute of work on their project. I don't know if it was because they seen me as vulnerable because they could tell I was in shock, or if they had nothing else logical to say, but they both argued, "You are greedy, all you care about is money." At that point, I was in such shock that I couldn't talk, or even think to argue. The arguement eventually died down, but the tension did not. With them thinking I'm just "okay" with evreything, every time a check comes in, they seem to love to discuss how much its for. It's also notable that within a few hours after the arguement, my dad and brother changed the password to the affiliate account.

Early-mid 2010 hits. Ironically, my dad and brother run into a tough spot, like I was one year before. The only difference is that they had the cash, but had no clue how to set up a promotional campaign. Everything, from how to create a new page with affiliate links, to researching the audience to advertise to, they had no clue how to do. They came to me at first asking politely to 'help' set them up a campaign, and I politely declined. What I really wanted to say was go fuck yourself. As I was politely declining, citing that my share of the revenue was not being paid so I would not continue to help them. Again, I died a little bit more inside after they argued, "All you are is greedy. All you care about is yourself. Help your family out." I don't know if it was guilt, low self-esteem or the fact that over the years I was taught that 'family is everything,' but for some fucking reason I 'helped' them get another campaign going. Again, I did all the coding, all the research and set everything up for them. I don't know why I helped them because the checks started rolling in again, and everything that I had loathed about them before I had just helped perpetuate, again.

It's 2011. Collectively over two years they have had a combind income of just over $100,000. My brother has now bought his own house, and a new snowmobile. And my dad has also bought a new snowmobile, and a brand new Ford F350. All with the money I've pretty much given them. Even though I'm making more than that, it still pisses me off to no end because to this day my dad and brother havent offered to pay for things like my college, rent, or even my cell phone bill. It's not even that I would accept it, but the feeling of appreciation by offering.

The worst part of it is, is that I've never even heard a simple thank you. Just this morning I held the door open at the gas station and she said thank you. I realized that I've got more appreciation from an old lady by holding the door, than by giving my family $100,000.

When I open my email I see that I got about 2400 new emails. Some of them sent me a generated password - should I edit all the directories manually and change the password to that generated by the directory? I have had several people ask me recently how I set up my scraper sites/auto blogs. I'm far too lazy to answer everyone via PM so I decided to just spell it out in a post on the boards. Now keep in mind that this is just my setup, which has been working for me through all this Panda nonsense. I can't promise that everyone will have the same success and there may be better ways to do it. This is just my way and it's not rocket science either. I have a handful of these sites and somewhere in the range of 20 to 30 thousand pages indexed in Google. I have done zero link building on any of these and I don't send them any traffic but they all bring in traffic for low competition keywords. Totally organic. I built these mainly for link juice to other sites and they have served me well so far.

All my scrapers run on wordpress and I use the same plugins on all of them. I will provide the list at the end. I also uploaded them all in one folder to mediafire, so you can grab them all in one spot if you so desire. I also use a nice theme and make a custom logo for each site using a free service at logosnap . com.

It is important to make these sites look legit since the panda update. I also add the standard about, contact and privacy policy pages. All generic but again it adds to the credibility of the site in googles eyes. I use the feedwordpress plugin to scrape from rss feeds and I add about 200-300 pages a week to each site. I only select feeds that display the full posts, no excerpts. I set up a cron job on my server to update the feeds every 2-3 days. For the first month or two I do not run any adsense on these sites. I believe it builds trust this way, makes the sites look less spammy.

Feedwordpress will create matching categories for all of your posts and you can configure it to attribute your site as the source for each post. For the first couple months I use the strip html plugin to strip all links from the posts (images too). This will ensure no backlinks to those pesky sites from whom you are yanking content. After I have around 1000 pages indexed i usually go ahead and unstrip the html, allowing all the links and images back in. I also add in my adsense or any affiliate links/banners. By this time you have earned googles trust so you are good to go. I use a number of other plugins for seo etc. Here is the list:

Google XML Sitemaps - to help with indexing

I've saw this method sold in several places, but I've been doing it for a little while, and it works so I thought I'd share from personal experience.

1. Do a little keyword research to find a top paying Adsense keyword. You can use the Google Adwords tool (although it's not exactly right for content payout, but still pretty good). Make sure the overall niche is pretty popular, say for instance, adult dating, weightloss/health, or green products (you get the idea).

2. Build a basic blogger blog (using one of their basic templates) for an adsense site. Be sure to keep the block above the first content article and above the fold. Say for instance your keyword was Los Angeles Weight Loss Surgery (or something to that extent, I haven't done keyword research on this keyword, but know that weight loss surgery is a pretty hefty paying keyword, although it's pretty good to keep it more generic and not geospecific if you can). When choosing a name for the blog keep it as close to the kw as possible or exactly on the keyword (ex: losangelesweightlosssurgery dot blogspot dot, you get the picture). This is the site where I would consider paying for the articles to make sure they are properly wrote for kw density for the money kw.

3. Put keyword into Google wonder wheel and start building basic blogs on related kw's, again keeping domains close or exactly at the kw's. For the content on these blogs you are going to load up 5-10 posts of 250-350 word articles to be drip fed every day or every other day that are very basic (doesn't have to be interesting to read). Make sure the kw density is around 2-3% though (blog specific kw density not money kw that you used on your adsense blog). Now, instead of adding adsense, add a link to your money blog. For instance, Click here for best ____keyword of blog___. Make the link big and make sure it captures the reader's attention immediately. This is also why these sites need to be boring and un-interesting.

4. Build a basic backlink structure to each blog using social bookmarking, profile backlinks, and/or Xrumer. You don't need to go all out, since most the terms will be long tail and fairly low competition (hence the reason for using Google's WW).

5. You will lose some adsense $ on the other sites by placing a link to the money site, but if the money keyword pays out much more, then the clicks willl count better. If money keyword's CPC slows down, then just add adsense for all the blogs separately. This also builds a linkwheel to your money site and you'll have some direct traffic to that site too.

6. After wheel of blogs have been completed, you can either move to a new niche and start over and/or keep adding more blogs to the wheel or grabbing a blogger autoblogger which uses the post through email feature and just let it do work (haven't really tried these out for periods of time, but I do have one that works with crons).

7. A good wheel will make a nice couple of hundred bucks a month in Adsense money or more. These blogs can also be incetivized with CPA or affiliate products (although I've never tried affiliate products). With CPA, you can either capture the emails or just direct link, but capturing emails will work best in the long run, but cut immediate profits by about half.

So, I did not XRumer, I did not SEnukeX, and Sick Submitter doesn't like me...
I needed a small tool to create forum profiles with a 99% success rate.

To do that, I use a free Firefox plugin named AutoFill Forms.
With it you can fill out any forms with one keyboard shortcut (Alt+J by default).

To facilitate this, I developed a small tool that lets you create all the necessary fields to the registration profile forums and blog commenting.
Currently supported platforms are WordPress, BlogEngine, MovableType, PhpBB, PunBB, ...

This method is obviously longer than a quality blast but it can saves a certain time to fill failed forums (ex : captcha).

Well BHW, since I told YouTube to go pound it, I've had the opportunity to do exactly what some smug asshat from YT advised me to do, make something better if I thought YT sucked.

Well, I did just that. It's a work in progress, but it's not too bad for the first month and only being opened officially for about 2 weeks. So far the number of people joining have been spurratic at best. One guy has been uploading a bunch of videos and another uploading audio. The content is building, but unfortunately the user interaction is not. At least not as fast as I want to see it.

So, any tips, advise on BH or WH methods to get the people in? YouTube used obvious BH methods early on and grew quickly. If that's what it takes, I will.

He doesn't understand how like Google AdWords or Adsense works, and also, he can't seem to comprehend the fact that web companies are able to track someones sales, and give you money for it. And how cookies work. And he doesn't understand how this all works togethor.

He insists that he can buy premade templates via Yahoo! Sitebuilder that will do everything for him. And he doesn't understand the need to learn hard coding in notepad.


Before he can ever start a website up like he wants to, he needs to learn how the web works. I can only answer so many of his questions per day.

I'd like to get some links to helpful websites, or books that can help him with this. He really wants to learn but he's just so used to being a consumer on the internet, it's hard for him to see theres so much more behind it. It would be very much appreciated if you could help me! :)

I'm a bit confused and frustrated... I have a site I've been SEO-ing for a week, and I'm nowhere to be found on Google. If I do site:<url>, it DOES show up, but that's the only way I can find it in Google.

Keep in mind this domain has had nothing BH at all pointed at it (Well okay...maybe a few manually added comments to some blogs, but nothing that would raise an alarm from Google), and it has 100% unique content (no spinning).

I've done the following:

• On page SEO with SEO Ultimate WP plugin + SEO check.
• Created a sitemap and submitted it to Google Webmaster Tools.
• Pinged the site.
• Manually added it using Google's "add a site to crawl" page.

This is in a pretty competitive niche, so I don't expect to be high on the SERPs yet, but the domain in question is the exact keyword I'm trying to SEO for. I don't show up even within the first 40 pages of Google (I manually checked those 40 pages...ugh.)
I just submitted a request for reconsideration through Google just to make sure a previous owner of the domain didn't get it blacklisted.

Any suggestions, anybody in the same situation?

I'm having problems with Magic Submitter. Its slow. Its stupid. It doesn't create accounts. It doesn't post content right. It gets stuck from site to site. You leave it on at night, check back in the morning and find you're still stuck on the 2nd site, you have to manually click "Complete" for it to continue working on other 100+ sites. Jesus man.

Is grass greener on the other side? Also, when I get SENukeX, should I still get BMD?

This afternoon I receive a mail from big G which said that they found a phising page in my site ! I logged in my ftp and there was a zip file and some php files. Later HGator sent me also an email about this but also cleaned all these files. As this domain has my HG reseller account I m a little worried..:eek: Any suggestions? I use joomla cms I forgot to tell that my site was not deindexed. Sorry if I post at a wrong section

Does adding unique content help rank your homepage if those content aren't actually shown on the homepage? For example the homepage is where you want to sell your product. Your unique content is posted in different posts. It isn't shown in the homepage. So does adding those unique content still help your homepage to rank?
