Within the last week herbal incense has been banned in my area... I guess they think its time to crack down on this substance because you can get "high" off the product. Anyways the ban has allowed retailers to continue to sell any supply they bought before the ban was put into effect but after that they can not sell anymore...

Now over the last couple months I have seen a large increase in use of the product and now since there is the ban you have to go over a county just to purchase the product. I have checked out the site "Legal Bud" where you can buy a couple ounces of legal bud for $59.95 or so and I calculated the price / mark up I could be receiving almost $220 profit per 3 ounces at the rates gas stations are charging for their products ($10 for 3 grams) but after ban announced ($25 for 1.5 grams).

Anyways I have 3 ounces ordered and on the way to my house but now I need a way to target the market that is steadily increasing without knowing the people directly... anyone have tips or ideas? I don't know how much trouble I can get in for selling herbal incense after the ban but it can't be more than a fine like tobacco.

Hi all,

My question may make somebody laugh but i really need you help. I have just set up an auction to sell my auto blog at flipa and now I need to upload the adsene proofs. My blogs are making over $1700/m with adsene and I think it is about time to flip some of them.

I see many other showing their proof with a black column that hides the adsene statistic, only show the total income. I want to do that but don't know how and which tool to do that? I have searched but still not found anywhere.
Does the Paint tool from Microsoft Windows can do that?

Okay so I decided I want to make some authority sites instead of micro niche sites. I am a bit confused with the keywords.

Lets use the keyword and niche "stocks" as an example. I will pretend I am trying to target "stocks" and my URL is stocksguide.com

Say my authority site is 30 pages. Do I make a few pages targeting the keyword stocks. then go after other keywords like
stocks to buy now,stocks to watch,list of stocks,buy stocks online,best penny stocks,buying stocks, penny stocks to buy,penny stocks to watch,stock market today, buy stock, new york stock exchange, etc etc,

Isnt it almost redundant to have pages with such similar titles and terms? or is this what is needed to have a big site?

A month back there was a posting here on BHW about a website which offers a free service of sending out emails with your ad attached. It looked like some sort of email opt-in service where members promote their own stuff to each other so it looked legit. So I went ahead to plonk in a test ad - and made the mistake of registering my main email. Now my email is being spoofed as the sender for tons of crap being blasted everyday I think. I get some of these coming back to me ("me" sending to me - yes).

I tried changing my email password but that didn't help in stopping it. I can't kill off the email cos its not a free email but my corporate domain email linked to uncountable registries.

Yes it is a dumb mistake and I have no idea how to turn off the tap as I can't find that thread on BHW and can't find that bl**dy website.

I feel like a dickhead already so please don't give me further grief - please give me advice. Really appreciate it!!! :)

If you find an image you like, open it up and save the image or copy the image's url. From there, load up Tineye.

Tineye is a reverse image search. Basically, you provide Tineye with an image, and it scours its database to find images that are close to it, or where else that particular image is used. It works very well.

Anyways, you can either a) upload the image that you saved, or b) paste in the image's url, and hit search. Tineye will typically pop up a handful of results. Some of them are the watermarked ones that you provided, some of them are images that look VERY similar but aren't the same image, and some of them are the image you're looking for -- no watermark, and unaltered. You just saved yourself anywhere from $1 to $who-the-hell-knows.

Im 25, I live at home with a big family, (parents, grandparents, uncle, brother just moved out though). I have a semi-successful website that made 32k last year. I have big dreams and always talk about the next big ideas, but I rarely start projects I get excited about. And projects I do start take a while to get going and lack momentum to get them done quickly and vigorously.

I have just graduated college with a B.A. in Biology, I didn't have the patience to stick with the B.S. plus I knew I didn't see a career in Biology as I am not much of an academic type.

I live in California, so $32k is OK but not great, although I made that all on the side while going to college full time so that makes it better.

Now I'm faced with the question of what I'm going to do with my life. My mom keeps asking me when I'm getting a job, and I keep telling her "Remember? I don't want a job, I want to own a self-running business." She goes OK like what?

Then I say, "Exactly.."



I mean I have ideas that I want to try but they are out of my comfort zone. Also some ideas are going to need professional planning for them to work out. In my mind I have ideas that could make me or anyone who starts it rich, but I just don't know where or how to begin because all I know is IM, and I'm only decent to above average in that.

I know if I give up on my dreams that I will be giving up on myself so I'm not going to ever do that. However, I realize that I need to move out, I need to get my life going and I need to do it somehow!



Can I get some thoughts from people who have been there done that? A kick in the ass, or some words of encouragement? Fuck, I hate when people put doubts in my mind.

All this is coming from my Mom who unfortunately was layed off from her high paying corporate AT&T job a few years ago. She wants me to climb the corporate ladder to learn skills and to be able to relate to other who work day to day.

They said they're a small local therapist company that wants to have SEO done. Not really sure what to charge per month? I thought I would let the community know of this rubbish that is being done at Adbrite. I never really liked them in the first place but I think others who use them should know what seems like they are waiting to do to their partners. I run a TV/Movie streaming site that is doing okay considering it is new and I was using adbrite at times. I noticed that after awhile my banners CPM and everything else's payouts was garbage. So I went to go through months of rubbish ads to clean them up, I realized quickly that it was too tedious. So I deleted the Ad Zones. I made new ones after getting the approval from the admins themselves again because I exceeded the ad zone limit. So they approved my site twice before they pulled this crap. I then made the new ad zones and placed the banners/inlines/interstitial ads. I then waited for Adbrite to crawl my site, after 24 hours it was displaying their default "Your Ad here" and "Powered By Adbrite". I thought everything was cool, but after 7 days I knew something was up for sure. By this point even the "Your Ad Here" banner disappeared. So I contacted them, keep in mind I had already been approved twice and contacted support and they gave the green light again. But to my surprise I get this ridiculous response.

This wouldn't have pissed me off so much if I hadn't contacted them right before they "changed their policy" and they approved my site again. So just giving everybody a heads up that uses them. I am pretty sure they are waiting to "spring" this surprise on publishers.

I am a complete noob to Clickbank and have a product that we are going to go live with in the next few days. Looking for help promoting the product, tips, dos and don'ts etc.

So I have a site its about 6 months old, I blasted it pretty hard with a wide variety of links over this period where it has about 10,000 or so links in Yahoo Site Explorer. (I use SB, AMR, SEnuke, BMD)

I was rankin in the top 10 for a bunch of keywords, then about 3 weeks ago I got smacked and now I rank like 500+ for all my words.

So over the past 3 weeks I added some new content and kept building more links but I'm still stuck.

Am I on the right track here? Just keep blasting away?

Hey all, I am about to pull the trigger on some backlink campaigns and wanted to know when searching keyword competition, what numbers do you use as a guide.

From people i trust I've been told about 6-8m should be about the maximum i go for when competing , the higher the harder it is to crack.

Since I only have 3 to use for the backlinks, i want to get it right.
Some of the keywords for the same niche' i use currently with Adwords is about 15m & 12m, they do ok, but not sure how to gauge backlinks keywords to Adwords keywords or if they are even relevant to use as a guide.???

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have had two "You have 3 working days to make changes to your site" emails in the last month for two different sites (one for each)
