people always say unique content unique content.. ok so more unique content helps you rank better. so youre telling me i should just keep pumping out 500+ word articles on the same page? that page is gonna get super long in no time then. plus every other website ranking #1 does not do that. they only have like one or two articles on that page. so what is with this unique content theory...

Hi guys, I have a business directory that I've been building for the last few months & I have a few questions for anyone who knows about sub domains, how to get them ranking well & indexed fast.

My first question is, can you get sub domains indexed really fast? It takes me between 2-7 days at the moment. I sell these sub domains to businesses for a small monthly fee. So I need to get these sub domains indexed asap. At the moment I place the URL of the sub domain on my home page to help get the site indexed asap, is there another way I can do this? I would prefer not to have the sites on my home page as it does let my competitors see my new clients & give them the chance to contact them.

Also is there any tricks to getting your sub domains to rank well? I'm aiming to target low keywords but building multiple sites targeting each keyword the customer would like to rank for, a keyword example would be "plumber Ringwood". Which is not a very competitive search. I've been using scrapebox to blast the sub domains but I haven't seen any results, it's only been a few days though.

Another thing I've noticed is that when I create multiple sites with the exact same content except the town name. For example "plumber Ringwood" "plumber Blackburn", some of these sites rank well but other times you can't find them, it's like they're banned. Then they will re-appear a week or 2 later, I'm thinking it could be a duplicate content issue. But I can see my competitors are able to create multiple sites, changing just the town name & get a good ranking on Google within 1-2 days after they've built the site & placed the URL on the home page.

So what I'm trying to achieve is a network of websites using my business directory. I need to be able to get these sites indexed asap & get these sub domains ranked above my competitors. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Here is a first for me. I just check my adsense stat's and there is what they are showing

Now added up does not equal 16 but this is not all my a-stats are showing only 1 or 2 visits a day on all site while my Analytics is showing a different than everything. They took one oy my sites off the search But i had a comment that said they found me on the goo search. I contacted by e-mail and they sent a shot of it to me and there it was. Now i check with several tools and there is nothing. And the site in question is a WP site. What is going on with goo.

I was checking some stats at work and felt like searching my keyword and couldn't find my site at its usually page 4 position, then found it on page 1 at #3! But now it's back at page 4? It's a very competitive keyword, so I was expecting a page by page increase.

Do you think this is just a fluke (as if algorithms have flukes...) or did I switch servers when my site was on page 4 on the second search, meaning the other servers will soon have me at #3? I'd like to think that, but it seems strange to jump straight to position 3, right behind Wiki and an authority site.

Here is the deal. I run a network of adult sites and I use JuicyAds among others for advertising revenue. I have noticed that some folks are buying ads on porn sites that go to sites that show adsense ads. I just happened to be doing some research and clicked on a porn ad and it took me to a law site that had adsense on it. This has to be against the rules no? Is there some blackhat trick I am missing here. Even if it were legal how could the site possible convert any traffic to clicks. The traffic is totally not targeted.

I have just recently got some conversions with ShareCash via email safelists such as:

And I was thinking, wouldn't it be a good idea to have some software that logs into your email account, opens up each email from these safelists and clicks on each link that earns "mailing credits"? Of course you would create a seperate email address from your main address as your inbox can be flooded with hundreds in a week. I have knowledge in Java but I don't think it is significant enough to build software like this yet (well at least until the end of this year anyway). I have heard a lot of good things about uBot on here and am presuming that it would do a great job in aiding someone to create such software (I can't afford the price tag at the moment as I'm a student with a young family).

If this idea is already a reality, please forgive me (and if possible point me in the right direction to get a -preferably- free version). I know alot of members on here can afford VPS and Dedi etc for mass mailing, but for people that can't afford them, getting -free- or -cheap- memberships to these safelists can be a useful way to start getting conversions and earning enough profit to get something better like a VPS that allows mass mailing.

Having such software would make safelists even more worthwhile, as you don't have to neccessarily click -credit- links manually and repeat it hundreds of times, just run the software and have a beer or coffee while you wait, and then enjoy the use of the thousands of credits at your disposal :D.

I am using link cloaking to create a false referrer which allows me to send affilaite traffic direct to merchant without being noticed. Works fine and improves performance.

Been using this method for months without issue, but recently Adwords keeps disapproving ads for "Inaccurate Display URL" even though the ultimate destination URL is a perfect match?? It seems to thinks an earlier URL in the redirect process is the correct one ie usually the affiliate networks tracking redirect URL.

Cant figure it out seems to be only in last few weeks and seems to only apply to certain affiliate networks. Anyone had similar experience or offer any advice?

I was looking at all the sites such as Associated Content and similar sites. Some people just aren't accepted in other websites such as DS(Demand Studios) and etc.

This plan isn't a quick flip for money but eventually I am sure you will make money. I would say start a blog or use a CMS script and start your own website. Write and post your articles on the site and keep them yourself. Sure this is very slow but I think it might just work. Think about how much sites like ehow (especially before the whole Google and the 'Content Farm"). It will take time due to the fact that you don't have so many users but imagine pushing out 10 articles a day that is about 300 articles month.

Eventually when you start making enough money you can hire outside help and pay for content like other sites or start a revenue sharing system. Or if you have connection to cheaper article outsourcing you can do that as well.


Anyone else have any insight on this, advice or pros and cons on the idea?

I have an autoblog which is getting around 1500 unique visitors per day. The blog has around 4000 posts. From what I can tell from the SEO Searchterms plugin the majority of visitors are viewing only a very small fraction of these posts.

Does anyone know of a plugin which will delete posts that have no search engine traffic after a set period of time. I would like to clean up this blog and make it a little less 'autobloggy'
