OK, so this morning I saw a facebook group that was "In Memory of Steve Jobs, Apple are giving away 1000 free iPad 2's".

This group obviously led to the offer.

Over 100 of my university friends has joined the group and I'm guessing continued to fill out the offer (Quite a few wrote "Thanks" on the wall etc).

If you look at the group now it has been shut down by facebook for leading users of the site.



Personally I think this was a GREAT idea. As I stated easily 100 of my friends joined, and there were thousands in the group. I can only imagine how many signed up, especially with it going through UK university groups.

Collected from almost 10 places ,i have just collected for creating imacros with it.So though to share the list.
All are indexed in BIg G google and removed all the duplicates as well.
Since i have read alot of threads here which are quite useful for me so thinking to return something.

Anyway this is not really blackhat but what are your opinions on buying a few iPhone 4S and placing them on ebay? The iphones are fully returnable to the apple store and there's no restocking fee. On the iPhone 4 release I seen people make an easy few hundred selling the phones overseas but now that the phone isn't AT&T exclusive the game may have changed. This is one of my methods I have been using to make money from a failing site.

I thought just to try it out I would open a forum, thinking how hard can it be, the content is written for you. Little was I expecting the amount of spam I was going to get. In the end the spammers was getting the better of me but not any more. Yes I gave up on the forum but I am not one that likes to be beat.

I found the main spammer and there are a lot of them. I am targeting the insistent spammers, the kind who find it funny.

I take their link and write them an email telling them that they have seriously damaged my serps with their spam and ruined my forum. I then tell them that I have been putting together a list of spammers "you being the main one" and at the end of the week I am reporting them to Google and other places such as their ISP.

A lot of them then come back with their apologies and how it was not them, it was their SEO company.

I tell them I could not care less and I am going to make sure their spamming gets their site de indexed.

Basically I keep this up and tell them how much time and money I have put into it just for them to ruin it until the offer me some compensation so as not to report their site.

Last week I made $500 and I put no effort into it at all. I also have thousands upon thousands of spammers that I can target.

I know this will not impress some people on here as we all do our fair share of spamming. But at the end of the day money is money.

Hello everyone. Let me start with a brief history.

In 2008 I lost my job outside of home. I started working online on GPT sites, then eventually opened my own. That ended up failing because industry payout standards changed.

After that failed, I ventured my way into making adult websites and trying to make $ off of surfers buying memberships to adult sites. I didn't make much money at all and the adult industry is extremely oversaturated unless you've already got massive resources, so this ended up being a failure as well.

Now, I have been doing freelance and subcontract work for webmasters for the past 18 months, and I had a great job making $1600/mo. Lost it due to his business failing, which in essence, made ME fail for a third time.

I am currently working online for $400/mo, and I have given myself 60 days to either pick up a new job making my old income ($1600/mo) or I have to and start flipping burgers, just to lose my house because I won't be able to pay rent on a burger-flipper's pay.

I'm here, now, asking some of the more successful BHW members to lend an almost-4x-failed man try to bring his online business to a sustainable income level in 30-60 days. :1zhelp: I'll take lots of different types of work such as installing wordpress and other scripts, some coding work, and things of that nature. I'm really not interested in writing text all day or posting to craigslist, or uploading, especially since I am on a slow 3G internet connection (can't afford "real" internet). I'd also be interested in maybe someone developing a foolproof plan that is guaranteed to make my $1600/mo within 60 days so I don't have to go flip burgers and lose my house.

Yesterday I attempted to do a 301 redirect from my www site to my non www site. After a few hours, I noticed sites on the same hosting account that have dropped rankings. Even sites that haven't moved in months.

I read about how a 301 redirect can affect all of your subdomains and sub folders, So I think thats what happened to mess up my sites. I've since turned off the redirect and reverted the files to a backup from a few days ago and my sites still haven't gained back their rankings. Do I need to manually create an htaccess file and make sure the www and non www redirect to the same place for all of my sites or what would be the best way to proceed?

Lately my pc has been acting pretty strange. When I search any keyword using google, then click search results links, it won't go to right websites, often land at "http://search.6topsearches.com/feed?query=xxx".

I've been with BHW for quite a long time and I learned a lot in here - most of the time giving nothing in return (just some affiliate money for software :D )

Now I want to share my strategy with you - it is simple but it worked.

For some of you it might work, for others it might not but at BHW I've learned that it is important to think out of the box and that is what I try to do :)

A quick background:

I wanted to do something about marketing on sites that are somehow innovative.

I started from Foursquare. I had some success with them promoting my websites (affiliate links on blogs - clickbank). Unfortunately it did not last long - Foursquare does not allow to create "virtual venues" which were my main traffic source. - result: all my work banned.

After FourSquare I had no luck with GoWalla (oh well)

My last candidate was NoticeKiosk.

My strategy:

1) Get a lot of e-mails: hotmail,like 10$ for 500 (I needed only 5 of them for the first day)
2) Create title and text that will attract people (in many variations)
3) Post my advertise in New York on about 5 places/kiosks (???) every day to stay under the radar. (unfortunately it is local site so only new york)
4) Get traffic USA/New York

Result: almost 50unique visits first day - I know it is not much, but I think that as long as it's free it's worth it - and is US not china traffic, right? :D

I have been trying to come up with a SEO strategy for a website that I can not afford to get banned from the SERPS. The site has had over 2000 man hours of work put into building it over the last year. (between the labor and the graphic design I value the site at about $75,000).

The site is brand new and the traffic is starting to grow, but not from the SERPS. I am running several ad campaigns, which I am spending about $3,000/month on.

I need to come up with a strategy to get this site to climb up in the SERPS, without risking the chance of it getting banned.

I don't believe in white hat SEO simply because its hard enough to get a site to rank with black hat. So 100% pure white hat is out.

The site is "hopefully" going to go national but operates on a local level.

So I have to rank for geo targeted search phrases such as ... Dallas, tx blue widgets. So I will have a /tx/dallas page I want to rank...

Each local page has thousands of dynamic internal pages pointing links at it, which should get a huge boost.

My current plan is to build a massive network of content related websites. All of which, will be registered under different names and on different IP address.

I am thinking of just posting article after article of original "geo targeted" content on these sites and link them back to the respective geo page on the moneysite.

I don't plan to do much black hat backlinking to the "spoke sites" simply because I am worried that after I do the above for 50 different cities it will start to leave a giant footprint.

I am considering making building "spoke" sites to the orginal "spokes" and maybe hitting them with some black hat link building. But I am still worried the foot print will be to big for google to ignore.

Any ideas on what strategy you would do?
