Get this: This company has offices in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Australia, Japan, Mexico, Canada, and throughout Europe. And, the PRESIDENT of the company is the one who contacted me, via my website.

Oh, and this contract is for their storefront in ONE location. They have 17 storefronts, so.... do the math. When I impress them with this one location, then the rest are in the bag :D

I was wondering if anyone on here believed that buying geographically and interest targeted visitors were a waste of money. I have tried multiple services and found very few of these packages have any conversion. What are your opinions, and have you converted well on such traffic?


Prime example:

Visits: 1496
Clicks: 1083
Conversions: 2

This is just so far for the most recent package of 10,000 visits.

Trying to get the most out of facebook, i have been testing Groups for the last 2 weeks with great success..

Probably most of you have tried this before, but i will put it here in case theres other noobs like me that will like to experiment! Hope it helps!

Step by Step Guide on how to use Facebook Groups as your business Newsletter.

1- Think of a giveaway, like Concert Tickets, a day spa all free or an ipad 2

2- setup a landing page with 3 steps to make contestants participate - step 1 - like buttons of your pages (no more than 4) Step 2 - Recommend this button (setup nice open graph tags on the landing page for it to get viral on peoples facebook walls ) Step 3 - THIS IS IMPORTANT - Ad this USER PROFILE as a FRIEND ON FACEBOOK. (link a user profile you just created for this matters)

3- It is reaaally important to understand that the USER profile people is going to add GOT to be NATURAL looking. If you start getting friends requests and you look like an organization, a celebrity or plain fake (not a real person) facebook WILL ASK YOU to migrate your account or be banned!

4- Setup a Facebook AD. IMPORTANT - It HAS TO BE TARGETED to people that HAS NOT LIKED ANY OF THE PAGES YOU ARE TARGETING. this is easy to do while settup the ad. This will prevent you adding always the same people to the groups you will be forming!

5.- Once you start running the adds all the process will make you gain likes to your pages and friends requests to the profile you setted up. Now you have to login to the new profile and ACCEPT all those friends request.

6- While loged in with the new Profile , Open a GROUP RELATED TO YOUR BRAND and make your main profile (the one you use, admin).

7- ADD ALL THOSE PEOPLE that just became your friends to that group. As you know you can add people to groups without their permition.

8- THIS IS WHERE THE MONEY IS. ADD ONLY UP TO 4,999 . ... YOU KNOW WHY RIGHT ? .. YES, AFTER 5k ... when you create an EVENT for THE GROUP, facebook WONT INVITE ALL MEMBERS AUTOMATICALLY SENDING THE NOTIFICATION.. so you loose all virallity and automatization.

9- Once your profile and group gets to 4,900 members/friends , open a new profile and repeat.

I have done this for my daily deal site. So far i have 15 / 5k member groups... so its free status updates IN THEIR INBOX when i add them to an event using the group.

I will create an event for each group with the Daily Deal and the event name will be THE DISCOUNT of the deal. in the EVENT INFO space, i will put the link of the deal in my deal site, write 250 words of promotion and end with the link again.

If you look at this from the numbers perspective it works like this for me:

To an average Event i create i will get around 450-500 people INTERACTING (this means they SAW the invitation because they neither click ATTENDING, NOT ATTENDING , OR DOESNT KNOW YET) .. from each group.

This means i get branding everyday in around 7,500 REAL human beings. ONLY from FB GROUPS..

how many of them convert ? =) Depends on the niche and what are you selling--- you can always try it and find out!

Do you know of any URL shorteners or link cloakers that tracks bandwidth info instead of clicks?

I have a website which offers members to download files but most files are in a dropbox public folder. Dropbox has a daily bandwidth limit for each public link that is shared on the public folder. Unfortunately Dropbox does not offer bandwidth tracking for each link.

Bit.ly is good but only offers tracking of clicks but not bandwidth tracking. Do you know of any workaround? Thanks

Im competing with a site and my main kw is "local city dentist" and the guy ranking #1 does no have he KW in the domain, title, desc, and NOWHERE on the entire site. The only keyword hes targeting is "local city dental". Ive also checked his backlinks and according to YSE he has 780, but when I removed duplicate domains hes left with 75 unique ones, which are all hosted on the same IP, and every anchor text is "local city dental"

How is this guy ranking first? Does google rank similar keywords the same, in this case dental and dentist?

Can someone please help. The software i use for my dating site is not working and i need to send 20,000 members of a dating site a newsletter. how do i do this cheaply? These are opt-in members. I completely let this dating site just sit there..and out of nowhere i get a CEO from a large clothing company who just paid me $300 to send his advertisement out to my dating site. But, i can't get my email sending to work..as it's a software by webscribble. And it won't send out the newsletter. how can i do this outside of my dating site? I know they can crawl html pages and dynamic php pages but can they actually see the code of a php page? Or just the output?

Also, what about databases? I am 99.9 percent sure they cant see into your database but I would like to be 100% sure...

If you've had experience with creating your own blackhat ventures, but have nothing to show for them, how would you go about applying for seo jobs? Make sure you try to study the best you can and go over concepts in some sort of study group (which is what I should do, have been collaborating with a couple of classmates all semester so it would make sense to form a study group as we are all passionate about the subjects and we are relatively good at the subjects) to maximise your efforts. Also make sure you have some regular breaks and play some backyard cricket/bullrush etc to keep active and awake. If you can try to lay off drinking too much alcomohol till after exams, remember you're lending thousands of $$$$ off the government and they need you to do well so you will get a good job after graduation so you can pay them back (wish education was free but thats not how it is).

If you're still at high school I wish you all luck as well, and the same other stuff as above. Remember you need to do well in high school to get into uni, so keep at it and remember after exams are over you can have a decent 2 or so months break :).

I bet after exams are over BHW will start getting more traffic perhaps :). I 'm not sure if people in the US or Canada have exams before christmas but if so good luck to you all too...

My main money site is poker related and now there is a new legislation which is basicly forbidding sites like mine (affiliating). 80% of my users are from my country, so I'm going to lose ~80% of my income in the next 2 months.

I have been doing a very good amount of money with this site, however, now I have to move on and forget it (and of course take something extra from my rest 20% of users).

Sooo my question is how to proceed? I'm not into some silly techniques to make $500 in one day and the other one $0. I'm rather planning to invest in a longterm site which is going to make an income over time and it will be stable. My idea was to search for niches that have 15k+ exact searches with not-so-hard competition (yes! 15k+ with low competition. I have 2 such domains already that are .com and .net. And CPC is $2+ for both. One of them is very good for affiliate amazon products.)

Put shit loads of content and target a lot of KWs - the most related and the not-so-much related and try to rank them as hard as possible. I'm not a SEO expert, I can't even code a site or use photoshop, however, I have my team of programmers/designers/SEO guys. As said my main site was doing a good amount of money. Basicly make authority sites with exact match domains with a lot of content.
I like this idea and it looks quite easy... ;)

The plan is to have several such sites ... hopefully each of them making a good amount of money on monthly basis :)

My other idea is to start a land based company for webdesign/seo/coding/etc. (simultaneously with building authority adsense/amazon/cpa sites)There are lots of those in my country, but most of them are really really expensive, and I have some good methods for getting customers. This will be a bit more expensive than I can risk, but I believe in my social skills and ability to attract new customers ;)

I don't need ideas or anything (Of course I'm open for joint ventures, but only trusted people please. A lot of people know who I am and I have a registered offshore company in Malta(EU)) (Also if you have a super idea, I can invest in you :) )

I just need some guide lines on what I should be aware of, is it worth it, ?any better options than those (my ideas are not unique or innovative, they are just simple and not so hard to be done)

P.S. It's not an option to sell my site... Nobody will pay it that fast (its worth high 5 digit amount in euro) as I said I have only ~2 months. And as also said a lot of people know me and I don't want to screw anybody :)

On my very first site, i made it based on a bad keyword...i got a EMD and everything for it, and later found out that it was a shitty keyword due to the famous noob broad-exact different, and local-global difference.

Id like to keep my articles, but transfer to a diff domain name and different design.

Is all I have to do to retain my SERP (meager) and all my backlinks that i've develped is to just 301 redirect to the new domain? Is that really it? Or is this even doable? The key is I'd love to keep my backlink juice and SERP juice for the new domain.

CJ Has been known for being picky when it comes to traffic sources, but I found that if you tell them that you do search and email, you can basically promote anything, any way that you want and be totally fine. It's super easy to be accepted on such nonsense as well:

I'm curious how you guys index images in google images ? My site which I created a couple days ago, gets indexed in google web, but no images appear in google images. What should I do ? When I use inches in Photoshop, I get like a 1050x600 pixels size image... that isn't correct.....

Basically over the past couple of weeks I have been blasting my approved articles with sb lists and adding to Linklicious. But it isn't working, the index rate is rubbish.

But today when checking the index of an article I submitted 4 weeks, I was surprised to see 1,200 articles had been indexed. Why? Looking over my notes, I didn't do anything to these links no SB lists or Linklicious.

Possible Reason = Blasting

I am thinking that me blasting the articles before google had time to find them was setting of alarm bells, which makes sense. Why would a new article start to receive 1000's of comments before it was indexed.

But now they are indexed, I can start to blast them to get the juice.

New Test to Check

I am going to submit another article and this time I'm not going to blast, ping or use an indexing service. I am hoping that in 4 weeks most will be indexed again.
