Yahoo site explorer cesed of exist

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 07:01 PM PST

Well today yahoo site explorer said goodbye, as statemented here: http://searchengineland.com/yahoo-si...er-21st-101779

I do not use yahoo site explorer, i prefer to use "htt://mysite.com" or "href="http://mysite.com" queries over google to gather backlinks #/url, it's far more accurate that yahoo site explorer.

What do you think, it has a major effect in SEO world or you give a damn about it?

ScrapeJet - Discussion, info, tactics, secrets

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 06:52 PM PST

I have seen a few people posting around that they have purchased ScrapeJet and are already seeing good results with it. I wanted to start a central place where we can discuss info, tactics and general scrapejet secrets (albeit they won't be secrets then, lol).

I have trained Scrapejet on some custom platforms already and success is excellent. There is a lot of ways this program can be applied out of the box. Of course its simple enough as it is, but I don't even take anything at face value.

If you have no idea what I am talking about then here is an intro:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GrgVhhabz8

Ideas I have include using multiple instances to create a lot of found links and then merge them into 1 big file and feed that back to scrapejet as a "master" list for creating links to my sites.

As well as of course training it on many custom platforms so I can get links with no effort from non heavily spammed platforms. The beauty with this option is that I love scrapeboxes learning mode, but just can't justify my time to scrape and build links on a platform that only has 33K sites or something. Thats just not worth my time. But if I just traing scrapejet, its all automated so I can just set it up and walk away and it does the rest. So this reduces my time spent and makes it viable to hit small platforms.

Also if anyone has any good questions I would love to post them up on my site. If I don't know the answer I can find out:
http://www.scrapejetfaq.com

So what ideas do you have? How can we apply this tool cleverly, beyond face value?

Twitter Viral App Join Venture

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 06:18 PM PST

Hi all,

I just got and setted up a twitter viral application that is able to do what fb viral app do (get the token of the user, tweet as the user offline, ecc).
My problem is that i'm a facebook marketer and, you can figure, this application need traffic from twitter (that is logged on twitter or have for sure a twitter account) for the initial start.
Actually i don't have way to get twitter traffic cause i work on different kind of traffic, this mean that i cannot test if this application can go viral on twitter like app used to go viral on facebook.

So, my offer is a joint venture with a person that can send a good amount of twitter traffic, and see if the viral application effect can be obtained also on twitter in the same way that used to work on facebook, or not.
If all work like i suppose, we will both enjoy benefits, otherwise, friends like before.
If you are able to provide good twitter traffic and interested in this, message me, explaining in brief your twitter numbers and include an instant messenger contact. Right now i'm going to take just 1 partner for this.

Best Regards

Micro Niche sites Easy to Rank? How long?

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 05:58 PM PST

Right now I'm working on three different micro niche sites. I've only been working on each site for about 1 & 1/2 weeks. Right now I'm not ranking 1st page on any of my niches, only for the longtail words not my main keyword.

I know there is a lot of experienced members on this forum, I'm really just looking to know how long can I expect till I can hit first page with consistent backlinks.

I purchased a 10k verified backlinks package off this forum, and I've been using nohandseo. My onpageseo is near perfect and each site has 4 quality keyword optimized articles. Pretty much all my long tail keywords are ranking 1st page already, some are already #1.

I'm just looking to get some info off someone who has the experience. I'm pretty sure all that's holding me back from the frontpage is the age of my domain.

One of my competitions site is rank #11 and my site is far better optimized than his, and I have more links. So idk what's holding me back.

Anyhow I appreciate any insight thrown my way.

Google keyword tool inacurate information ?

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 05:52 PM PST

Hello my BHW friends.
Today I've asked to make a new project to a customer and as usual I open google keyword tool to check first wich keywords related to my customer ecommerce site are worth ranking since many people wich buy SEO services here in my country doesnt know a damm thing about SEO and asks me for ridiculous keywords I started to make the keyword research for free because I like to keep long term customers ok enough with the talking and heres the deal
Its been like 1 or 2 months wich I dont go check anything at google keyword tool and today I went to check some keywords for a online shop wich I consider being a micro niche yet (the previous project was to the same customer but another website in a total micro niche wich only gets spikes of search during some seasons of the year something like 1k-2k searches month and near 800 searches during normal months)
But after spending a couple hours researching I've got some keywords wich are not laser target to the customer products something like this example(its not the real keywords lol):
customer sells keychains with funny quotes like "chuck norris..."/movies/anime/games/emote icons/memes style
and the only keyword wich gives me a decent number of searches are "customade keychain" and still its quite a few since the customer niche its way more micro than customade since its not in every theme they sell keychain but I do know that people buy this a lot since I used to work with them in the store maybe I'm not finding the proper keyword ? or google are not retrieving the right number of searches ? or just people do look at this but not exactly at google search field ? So the reason wich google shows me so low numbers of searches...
really dunno maybe are the college tests and exams season that makes people use much less the internet in my country lol since the buyers usually are at the age of 10-25 years old LOL this is really driving me crazy at the moment
I Could just have asked if someone are noticing a weird information in google keyword tool related to number o exact match searches but I really wanted to give this brief story

I need an SEO Service

Anyone else having problems with Fiverr recently?

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 05:40 PM PST

I've had a number of problems with Fiverr recently:

1. Several times gotten 404's last week, not able to access for 15-20 mins.
2. One of my customers who purchased several of my gigs had double orders, which he says he did not place, his Paypal was charged for duplicates of gigs that he previously placed. These gigs 4 days later are still appearing as "incomplete", even though both him and me filed tickets about them (I got a response "We forwarded your ticket to our technicians" and nothing since then).
3. I ordered a gig which was next day cancelled by Fiverr staff (??) with no explanation! Seller was still there, so he wasn't banned, but the gig I ordered no longer was, although a similar gig was still there (it's possible they considered it a duplicate, but why cancel my order with no explanation? Not professional).
4. 2 of my tickets were never answered.

I realize Fiverr is pretty much only game in town of the sort, as far as quality of customers and traffic quantity, but come on, if they rest on their laurels and expect customers to stick around, while ignoring CS that's naive on their part.

Anyone else having problems?

Why (not)avoid skype?

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 03:49 PM PST

Hi guys,
I noticed alot of ppl are starting or are using skype. A very few of these people know, that their skype client sometimes acts as relay for other clients thus using your cpu and bandwith, also it sniffs around on your local network looking for other skype clients and much more... To me it actually feels like a very clever trojan vith voip and chat capabilities. In many big corporations skype is considered a security threat.

Conclusion
Good Points:
  • Skype was made my clever people
  • Good use of cryptography

Bad points:
  • Hard to enforce a security policy with Skype
  • Jams traffic, can't be distinguished from data exfiltration
  • Incompatible with traffic monitoring, IDS
  • Impossible to protect from attacks
  • Total blackbox. Lack of transparency. No way to know if there is/will be a backdoor.
  • Fully trusts anyone who speaks Skype.

Here are some really nice reports on this matter for those interessted in details:

Searching for a related CPA Incentive/Affiliated Product etc.

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 03:37 PM PST

I've come to realise that there are several ways to earn money using affiliate products etc.

I was wondering if there was a way to do a SEARCH for a sale-lead related to any chosen product or subject/niche (i.e. is there a piece of software or a method).

For example, If I wrote an article about weight loss and decided to throw on the page some affiliate links specifically for weight loss, or wanted to plug a weight loss product etc.

It'd be great if "something" was able to search from whats available on:
amazon affiliated products,
clickbank products,
linkshare affiliated products,
cpa leads,
plus all the others etc.

Does such a thing exist?

November 2011 Data List: Life Insurance

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 03:32 PM PST

In the spirit of the holidays I have decided to give away a fresh list of data. This opt-in list contains about 17k records of Life Insurance leads from the month of November 2011. Leads include first name, last name, email, full address, phone number, and IP.

As we all know data becomes worthless once too many people have their hands on it. So I will only be giving the password to reputable BHW members for the next couple of days.

The cure for Gig Indecisiveness Disorder on Fiverr - the Random Gig feature

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 03:07 PM PST

Fiverr just announced their latest innovation, the 'Random Gig' feature on their blog:
Code:

http://blog.fiverr.com/2011/11/21/gig-indecisiveness-disorder/
It seems to be already affecting the sales in a good way, it's in place since only a few hours and a received more orders than usual. Somebody experienced the same or is it just accidental

Killer SEO services? Too easy to be true?

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 03:02 PM PST

From looking on the services forum on the good reviews the SEO offers are getting, its kind of hard to imagine that ordering 5 x random SEO services wouldn't bring success immediately. It just seems to be easy and it feels like purchasing money with less money.

What am I missing here?

Looking to get back in the game, seeking advice.

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 02:58 PM PST

I did some IM back in 2008-2009 and had moderate success selling a male enhancement product called Extagen. Set up a simple site, wrote some articles and made a few grand over a 18 month period before the program was shut down. Now I want to get back into the game and try again, but it seems the game has changed. There's so many more promotion methods out now, like twitter, facebook, youtube and all the new software that people as using like scrapebox. My head is spinning and I don't know where to start... I've been reading threads like crazy trying to form a plan but its a bit to much.

So if I was to promote another product like Extagen, what tools and methods would be best? I take it articles aren't enough to rank on the first page anymore and I don't even know where to start with social networking. If you had access to any tool or resource out there, how would you go about promoting these types of products (moreniche.com style proucts)? Blackhat style of course. Thanks for any advice guys.

The Full and Complete Guide to Starting your Offline Business Part 2

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 01:30 PM PST

You can find other parts here:
[Part 1]

I'm sure some of you at this point in time are just like "Oh my god Winchester just stop telling me all this great information! It's too much!" but I'm not going to because quite frankly I need a break from Skyrim! Anyway let's go:

Lesson 8 - Google Engage Intro

We're going to start off by talking about a little gem known as Google Engage, while it may not seem like much to the experienced marketing professional getting into the Google Engage program offers quite a few perks:
  • Free Adsense Training
  • Free Analytics Training
  • Free Marketing Brochures
  • Free Google Partnership Certification Tests
  • Free Google Adwords Coupons

You can join the Google Engage program by going to:

Code:

https://google-engage.appspot.com
and selecting the country closest too you. Once you have done so you'll want to complete the sign up forum as follows:

Your AdWords accounts section:
Code:

Are you applying as a business or an individual?: Individual
Do you have an AdWords account?: Yes (or create one)
Do you manage AdWords accounts for others?: Yes
Do you have an AdWords MCC account?: Yes (or create one)
Do you have an AdWords MCC account?: Enter the MCC account ID
Are you a Google Certified Partner? No (entering yes means you loose your free test vouchers)

Your details section:
Code:

Enter details truthfully
About your business
Code:

Area of business Any but: event planner, hardware provider or email marketing based on the accounts I have opened those ones seem to get questioned more
How many employees does your business have?: 10 - 50
How many clients does your business serve?: 6 -20
Are you a part of a larger agency network?: No
Business website URL: Put a quick templated website minimal detail

About your online marketing experience:

In this section you just want to check off all the options and fill in the box with something like:

Do not use this exactly, this is a guideline statement
Quote:

I am looking to expand my current understanding of both Adwords and Analytics in order to help improve the type of ad exposure my clients are receiving, as well as be able to provide them with more professional reporting and seo services
After that agree to the terms and conditions, and communications, fill in the captcha and sign up. With in 48 hours you should receive a call they'll ask you some basic questions like above, and usually approve the account. If you miss the call don't worry just give the number a call back and asked to be transferred to the Google Engage department - be sure to mention you just missed a call.

Lesson 9 -The Pitch (Selling Services to Clients)

Understanding the art of pitch is sometimes the most difficult challenge you will face in any business. Many people rattle with fear at the idea of pitching to a client, especially if it boils down to "cold calling" but even experienced pitchers like myself can hit a brick wall from time to time. There are however ways to improve your pitch and in this chapter we're going to break that down when it comes to the services you'll be able to provide your members via the Google Engage/partnership program.

Understanding the art of pitching starts with understanding the classic "5-step rotational sales model" as seen here:

Preparation phase: In the preparation phase its your job to find out as much as you can about your client, after all there is nothing more annoying than hearing the same canned pitch over and over again, if I was your client I want to hear how specifically you could help my business.

In this phase ask yourself the following:
  • What sector is my target client in?
  • Do they have a website?
  • If they have a website how is it currently used?
  • Who are their major competitors in both an online and offline market?

Education Phase: In the education phase you are going to want to create a dialogue with the perspective client, making an initial pitch, telling them what you understand about their business already and asking what their needs are. Remember - one of the biggest secrets to any successful pitch is not the talking but the listening.

Pitch Phase: The pitch phase is sort of a sub-divided phase part one is about creating your pitch. Make sure to ask yourself the following questions:
  • Did I listen to the needs my client brought up?
  • If I was the client would I feel the solutions I am going to provide were an adequate response to my concerns?
  • Did I research this industry to understand their primary target demographic?
  • What sectors of the internet is this target most likely to use?

Now when making your pitch be sure to follow the format:
  1. This is who we are
  2. This is my experience
  3. This is how my experience related to you and what I know about you
  4. This is our 4 - 5 main points
  5. Focus on Point 1
  6. Focus on Point 2
  7. Etc
  8. Conclude to discussion

The Discussion
The discussion is perhaps one of the most useful yet missed used phases of any pitch. When you sit down to have a discussion it needs to be a casual dialogue not more of you pitching while sitting down. A client is far more likely to buy if they feel your truly listening.

An important thing to understand is your clients business plan, when you get to the discussion point ask them what there plans are for this next year, and how they expect the market to change and evolve. Remember they are the experts in this category, discover what they know and show them how you can support this business.

Also look at who their competitors are, what they are successfully using to advertiser and how you can get a foothold over them. Ask if their are any competitors that your client is looking to over take; quite often the task isn't to be number one, but merely to be one above the competition! Also, make sure that you know what your clients unique selling point is.

Last but not least ask very specifically what type of support and services your client wants from you. Some clients will want you to do your job and stay out of their day to day business, others will want check-ups and insights in other aspects of their marketing effort. By knowing what type of client your dealing with you know how to tailor your interactions in advanced, and also take the amount of effort into account when examining your billing structure.

Giving away items/services in exchange for REP

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 01:25 PM PST

There's been a lot of this going around here lately, and I gotta say, it's incredibly lame. For one, I feel it undermines the reputation system and it's purpose. Clearly when someone is concerned about artificially inflating their stats like this they have a secondary agenda in mind.

Do you think that other members can't tell the difference between someone who cheated their way to their stats and someone who earned their stats the right way? C'mon now. I don't know about you, but when I see someone ask for rep in exchange for a free FB like or a Tweet I feel compelled to give them just the opposite.

Let's keep the board clean of this crap - if you want to give something away for free that's 100% OK. Just don't make others pump your stats up in exchange, because the credibility you think comes with those stats will mean nothing if they are obtained through those tactics.

Need tools to manage adcenter keywords... delete keywords that don't have quotes or []

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 01:16 PM PST

Adcenter SUCKS when it comes large list of keywords. For example, when I want to add a big list of keywords to a campaign, you don't have the option to set all of the keywords to phrase or exact. Sure, you can put do "keyword" for a phrase match or [keyword] for exact match, but they don't give you a tool to add quotes or brackets to a huge list of keywords in bulk. You'd have to manually go through the list and add quotes or brackets.

I found a site that converts a list of keywords to a list that has either quotes and/or brackets, but the problem is that it also includes the original keywords in the same output list without quotes or brackets, so basically you have a list generated that has whatever you specified (quotes and/or brackets around all keywords), AND the broad match keywords all in the same list. Now, I need to figure out a way to remove all keywords from this list that don't have quotes or brackets around them. Anyone know of some tool that can help me with this?

Oh, and fuck adcenter for making things so difficult for us.

Backlinking/Hybrid method

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 01:09 PM PST

How would you go about ranking a local website for local businesses?
Where would you create backlinks? Also, Besides backlinks, what else would you do to rank the site?

In regards to this method, www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/offline-marketing/155794-guaranteed-10k-month-online-offline-hybrid-method.html

I notice that google places listings come up first and then the organic results next. But I have seen some organic results come first many times. How would you go about doing that?

Also Are there any good tutorials on backlinking on here? Thanks.

[GET] Free Twitter Accounts...(READ MORE)

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 01:06 PM PST

Hey everyone,

As a way to give back to the community I am providing free Twitter accounts to the BHW community.

Note the accounts will be unverified. These accounts would be useful for TweetAttacks, and/or similar software. Also, I didnt use TAAC to make these accounts, I am testing a program I made from scratch.

You can specify the base keyword for the accounts and all accounts will have that in the name followed by a number and letter, for example:

  1. FreeiPadL1
  2. FreeiPadM8
  3. FreeiPadU6

How many accounts do you get?
  • Mods, Executive VIPs: 15 Twitter accounts
  • Jr.VIPs: 10 Twitter accounts
  • Regular users: 8 Twitter accounts
Sorry I cant offer any higher amount of accounts currently :/. Way too many captchas to fill out xD.

If you're interested, please PM! I cannot stress this enough. If you dont PM me and just leave a reply here dont expect any accounts. In your PM please tell me the base keyword you'd like. Remember nothing too large, or adult related.

What do I want in return?

Thanks on this post, or a +rep. Also, if you're feeling generous, I wouldnt mind taking a Youtube account or two, Im always in the need of those xD.

I am also doing this for a limited amount of people so dont miss out...

BHW, long live and prosper...

If You Make Money With Twitter, Let's Chat

Posted: 21 Nov 2011 01:03 PM PST

Hey everyone. After reading that one thread about making $215 in 12 hours I have decided it was finally time I get into Twitter. I have been testing and tweaking for about a week and yesterday I finally made about $25. IRC users know all about my ventures lol.

I am looking for people who are ALREADY making money using Twitter who would like to discuss different techniques and twists we can use. We can either chat on skype or preferably meet up in the IRC.

See you soon,
Cheers!
