I am looking for someone to seo boost my video to top rankings so that I could start making money. I will contribute 50% of profits alll the way up to 11k if you can rank my video super high. It does have some serious potential.

Facebook Fanpage

Posted: 01 Nov 2011 06:06 PM PDT

So I created a site with 30-50k searches a month, made a facebook page, and am getting near 1k fans for that.

When I google my keyword, the fanpage is ranked #3 and has nothing on it except a link to my site, but my site is on page like 15....

HOw is this even possible? I have done alot of backlinking for my site and only gotten fans for the facebook page..

I guess it is good though isnt it?

Anyone know if videobb and videozer is worth it?

Well I was hearing a method about making money with these sites unforunately its a bit of work unless you know someone who can increase your views really cheap. It doesn't seem worth it to me. I was looking for anyones opinion if they worked with these sites before.

$100/month. Where to start

Posted: 01 Nov 2011 05:29 PM PDT

Hey guys

I want to set my target that by the end of this month I have profited $100. I was wondering if anyone has tips on the best place to start on IM as a noob. I have loads of spare time and would rather invest it into making money than playing games! Also I can't cash out earnings with PayPal as my name is limited, not just my account.

Much appreciated

I have never used optimize press and thought it was mainly for squeez/sales/memberships sites. Can it be used like a regular blog and rank in the serps? I like the layout and what can be done with it. Anyone know?

Help, Trouble Getting Followers

Posted: 01 Nov 2011 05:00 PM PDT

Hi Everyone,

Let me say this is my first time posting on a website like this. I have been a sports gambler for the past fifteen years. I had a small client base which I catered to for about half a dozen years, but enough is enough. I am looking to expand.

Twitter is the big thing for sports handicappers/oddsmakers/gamblers right now. Everyone is offering advice and in game betting comments. I am looking to get a following and start driving traffic to my website (sounds like what everyone else is trying to do).

I am trying out TweetAttacks. Since I have never even touched or investigated any SEO software ever, this is the first product I have used. I have been using the trial to see if I can get a hang of things first and discover if it is beneficial or not.

So far I have been running tasks for two days. I have followed over 700 users and only gained 23 followers.

Is this the usual ratio? Am I going after the wrong keywords/search results? Should I be targeting followers of other users?

I have followed the users of people similar to myself in the industry who have a couple thousand followers each; all which I am confident are very legitimate. I have a real photo, real bio, real profile, everything is legitimate on my end.

I read stories about 200-300 followers a day, is it just the "niche" I am targeting or is it something I am doing.

I apologize if this is an embarrassing question for some of you to read; I am just starting and trying to grasp the fundamentals in order to best succeed.

Hopefully someone can help. I would appreciate it.

Question about my Market Samurai results

Posted: 01 Nov 2011 04:42 PM PDT

I get many results that look like this.
img692.imageshack.us/img692/7469/caloriesinalcoholicdrin.jpg
PR3, some backlinks and yahoo directory registered.

How hard would it be in this example to rank in a good position? - with or without blackhat tools.

Got another example which looks easier to rank - right?

These are just examples, i dont wanna use those keywords.
Thanks for ur help.

Easiest $100 a day to PayPal that I know

Posted: 01 Nov 2011 04:06 PM PDT

Hey guys. First method share for me. This is something I've been doing for the past 2 months and it has been making some easy cash for me. What this method consists of is to sell SEO services on your own website, and to use forums to drive traffic to your website. If you're a newbie and complain that you don't know how to make money online, you're full of crap because this method is pretty much foolproof.

First, you want to find the product you want to promote. I user Fiverr because it's cheap as hell and the amount of services there allows for some crazy flexibility on what you want to sell. You can sell things like Article submisisons, social bookmarking, directory submisisons, and etc. Once you choose a service to sell, you want to set up your website.

Find a nice brandable domain. Something that describes your service and memorable. Once you find a brandable service, you set up a website. I used Wordpress to set up my website and found a nice looking, customizable theme. Mine has a slider, which I fill with information about my service, the benefits, and some testimonials. Below, I have blocks that describe a package that I'm selling and links straight to Paypal. The footer consists of more testimonials, an about us, and a disclaimer. Make sure you have a FAQ, contact us page, privacy policy, and a disclaimer page. On the backside, I created an order form that I redirect customers to after they pay with PayPal. The order form will require the following information:

-Name
-Email to send reports
-Transaction ID
-Package bought (if you have more than one)
-Website URL
-Anchor text
-Referrer

You can use your own if you want. As long as you get the information you need from the customer to place the order.

If you don't know how to redirect your customers to your own page after payment, follow the instructions below.

-Log into your Paypal account.
-Click on "Merchant Services"
-Click on the "Buy Now Button"
-Now fill out the information it asks for in "Step 1"
-Next, skip to "Step 3: Customize advanced features (optional)"
-Where it has a checkbox that says "Take customers to this URL when they finish checkout", tick it and enter in your order form URL.
-If you want, you can tick "Take customers to this URL when they cancel their checkout" and redirect them to your homepage if they cancel.
-You're finished! Click "Create Button" and go to the "Email" tab to get the direct link.
-Lastly, put that link on your website under your package blocks of your website.

If you want, you can integrate this with an email marketing service as well so they are automatically added to your subscribers. I used GetResponse because they are free if you are under a certain amount of subscribers. Here are directions to setting it up.
http://blog.getresponse.com/paypal-integration.html

Now that you have set up your website, it is time to promote it. This is the easy part. You have a bunch of options but I will tell you guys the ones that worked best for me.

-Advertise on DP (people are mostly newbies and they are pretty much unaware of Fiverr)
-Buy signature links from DP
-Purchase ads on webmaster forums on BuySellAds
-Design a simple GIF banner that stands out very well and purchase the DP CPM ads.
-Use your current Fiverr gigs to upsell your SEO services.

DP is a place where threads don't bump when posted on so you have to be smart with the one bump you get every month. What I do is offer at least 5 different services on my website and create a different thread every couple days and redirect them to your website so they can browse all the packages available. Also, another strategy I haven't tried yet is to offer something for $5 and create a thread on the "Freebies" section and redirect them to your main website, where they may either purchase a $5 service from you at no profit for you while building your email list, or browse around and purchase a more expensive package from you.

This is a working method and I have tried this exact method myself with some success. After a couple months, if you build your email list and start getting consistent order from past clients, you will be able to stop the external promotions on other forums and just get autopilot income. Good stuff eh? Best part is, if you feel like getting out of the game, you can just flip the website for $XXX on Flippa. Just check out their current listings for backlink services. High demand I tell ya.

Thats all I got for you guys right now. I wrote all of this during class and it's about to be dismissed so I will continue this later if I have any more for you guys. Have fun and good luck to you all who try out this method.

SEO Questions

Posted: 01 Nov 2011 03:46 PM PDT

I am planning to buy some backlinks for my site to try to get at the top of google for some keywords. As I am a noob with such methods, I need some help.

My domain is 2 yo. I will build 4-5 new pages which I want to bring to the top of search engines with some keywords. My top competitors have PR 3-4 sites, with domains about 2-3 years old.

I have to mention that I want to rank my pages in my local language, I don't know if it will be harder to do that.

How much money will I need to pay for a backlinking service to achieve my goal and about how much time will it take?

Quick question about opt-in lists

Posted: 01 Nov 2011 03:46 PM PDT

I am totally new to e-mail marketing and CPA offer promotions. Though I do have an account at offervault. If I forward one of my domain names to a free squeeze page and create an opt-in list. What would be a good way to make a little cash without a webpage for now? I don't have any products or services to promote ATM. Maybe after I build a list I can send out e-mails for various CPA offers? If anyone has advice I would truly appreciate it as I am unemployed and have been for quite a while. This may seem cheap but I have $20 to invest into something that can help me out. LoL

Need Some Advice

Posted: 01 Nov 2011 03:45 PM PDT

Hello,

I have an upcoming website (mainly white-hat/little grey) that I want to promote locally. I have been distributing flyers but want to scale up. Ideally, I want to hire college/high school students because it's a a for hire sort of job and not a stable source of income. However, I'm stuck trying to find people who are willing. Craigslist job posts are usually older people seeking salaries and no one has responded to my ads (wrong section)? There are tons of sites that have students babysitters/tutors, but for the sort of work I need I can't find any.

Also, I have considered flyer distribution companies, but for now I want to do some local tests to see which areas work and which ones don't, before I invest more money. Does anyone know any resources or sites I can visit? Thanks.

Introducing myself and my weekend project

Posted: 01 Nov 2011 03:30 PM PDT

Hi BHW,

I think someone somewhere once said something like "It's not what you say that defines you, but what you do!" So let me tell (26 words in, and I already failed!) you what I did.

In search of a fun project this weekend I decided to try some internet marketing. As a total newbie I quickly stumbled over BHW and started trawling for ideas. As I did not want the project to be a money sink I set myself the simple goal of not spending any money on it (for hosting, SEO tools, etc.). The old Twitter+Adf ly route seemed to be a good place to start.

The usual twitter 'n adf ly combo seems to be done with a (random?) RSS feed directly connected to a twitter account. However, I would like to give the targets a reason to click on my links by providing quality content. For this I would need to screen the links manually before posting and provide an enticing message to accompany the adf ly link.

I decided to center the theme around funny pictures and gifs, since I have spend far too much time ogling lolcats on reddit lately. Hey, why not make my procrastination work for me this time?

I signed up for adf ly and twitter, shortened my first link and posted it. I was finally on my way to become the next overnight millionaire.

The tedious work required for continued operation was immediately evident and I started writing a utility script. Initially this script would just take a full link as input and output a shortened adf ly link, which I could manually paste into twitter. Next, I made it post directly to Twitter (perl have an awesome Twitter module on CPAN, BTW!).

To stay below the radar, I made it queue messages to post later. To stay on the safe side (and because I have a limited amount of links) it will only post one message per hour.

Having an auto-twitter agent is of course no good if no one is listening. To gain followers I found some "seed accounts" within my account's theme (comedy). I made my script list the followers of these accounts and follow them. A good portion of these then follow me back. Again, to stay under the radar, I only "bait" around two or five followers every three hours.

To ease the link discovery and post creation I also made a simple feed reader with integrated post creator.

This is largely where my introductory IM project is now. In excess of 50 hours spent coding and thinking, 759 lines of perl, ~60 Twitter followers, but best of all: Adf ly total "6 views, $0.01004 earned". Aww yeah! :D

Possible future improvements:
  • Avoid some manual screening labor by rating links based on f. ex. comments and up votes (like on reddit).
  • Increase exposure by utilizing Twitters hash tags.

This is probably it for now for this project. The labor required (manually screening links) is just too big. Besides, I have already decided on my next weekend project: A cheapskate hacker's approach to auto-blogging. I'll keep you posted!

So, this is me saying "Hi!" to all of BHW. :)

Stumbleupon Organic vs. Advertising

Posted: 01 Nov 2011 02:26 PM PDT

What are peoples experiences with advertising on Stumbleupon? How much extra (unpaid) traffic do people receive? Does the unpaid traffic continue indefinitely or does it stop after a while. In other words, is it really "paid discovery" or is it just advertising with a small bump afterwards? Is it better to promote on Stumbleupon organically?

BEWARE - 'youngmoney7'

Posted: 01 Nov 2011 02:23 PM PDT

I received a PM regarding my fans service from youngmoney asking me if I could become his new supplier. This was on the 20th October 2011.

We discussed this on Skype, and he told me had clients at the moment who needed fans, so we came to agreed arrangement of how we would work this. The initial 'test' was for 20k fans, to a rap related page. He said he would pay once the fans were delivered. He seemed a trustworthy guy, and as we had spoke for a while, he seemed pretty genuine.

I sent 20k fans to the page within the following week of making a deal, and alerted him of the completion on Saturday 29th. I asked him when the guy was paying me (he said his client was paying) and he said once he told the client it was completed, which would be instantly. He then asked for my paypal email. The following day, Sunday 30th October, I asked when the client was paying and received no reply. I also asked him again the following day, on Monday 31st October, but received no reply after several messages.

I also sent him multiple messages today, and have received no reply. I think he may have now blocked me, though im not 100% sure.

Why did you not take payment first? Usually I do, 99% of the time. This was a one off become the guy seemed really genuine, and discussed more work that would come after this. I trusted him, and did this out my own good will, but I guess sometimes its just not worth it.

He owes me £150 (Around $240 USD) I understand that this isn't a hell of a lot of money, but I don't want anyone else on the forum to be ripped off. If someone on here only makes $10 per day, and saves it up over 1 month, just for it to be taken away from them - the thought is terrible.

If I receive the payment from him, I will be happy to continue working with him providing payment is sent first. Everyone makes mistakes right, so I'd let it go.

I go to page http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackha...emberlist.html
On this page, I found total number of BHW members is 183,771

I take a screen shot for it too.

Now when I visit a Forum's home page here http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/
On this, I found number of visitors ever online which is greater then total number of members? Its saying about 209,882

If this is a mistake so please Mods take a look at it because we want our BHW to be clean of every false thing

Advice on new product launch

Posted: 01 Nov 2011 01:37 PM PDT

Hi guys,

I'm about to launch a new dating product through Clickbank in the next couple of weeks. I've been getting my sales page ready with all my graphics etc. I have just realised though that my branding might be a major problem. My guide shows people how to automate the online dating process across a range of dating sites and because of this I chose to plaster their logos across the 3D eCover for my book as well as the headers etc. on my soon to be launched site.

Here's an example: hxxp://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e377/viralhq/Book.jpg

My question is do you think this is a problem? Will I have to redesign all my graphics or can I just put disclaimers on my page saying I'm not affiliated with any of these brands directly etc.

Would appreciate someone's insight.

Thanks!

Sellling a Fiverr account?

Posted: 01 Nov 2011 12:36 PM PDT

Mods: I apologize if this is in the wrong place I dont really know where to put it.

Hey Guys, just to start im not trying to sell my account, if it came down to it I would go through the proper steps of selling it correctly. With that being said, do you think it is possible to sell your fiverr account? Kind of like a website....

For instance, Say My account pulls in $50 a day with with 3 hours of work a day. I want x months revenue for it?

Anyone thats on fiverr knows the importance of having an established account with a client base. Someone could figure out the gigs im doing and copy all of my gigs word for word and not get a single order. It would be super easy for someone else to pick up where you left off.

Any Ideas?

Harnessing Different IPs/DNS

Posted: 01 Nov 2011 12:35 PM PDT

I found a guy the other day that had built his own network of WP sites (40+) linked to one another. There was duplicate content all over the place but I'd say 80% of his sites ranked on the first page of Google.

His linking method was sidewide flat html links on the bottom of each site. The key to his success (I believe) was different IPs for each site.

Most were just DNS created off a random domain as opposed to using hostgator, etc.

How is he creating so many different DNS?
